any war sucks, so i rest my case on that.
wars always involve killing civilians who have nothing to do with the damn war.
if you have a quarrel with another country why don't the leaders fight man to man? it would be a fuckload more fair..

The interesting fact is, that a lot of countries have such problems. Belgium, too, not? I mean, northern Irland, Basques, the whole balkan company, Tibet...well you know what I mean.

Partially, the whole thing happens because of artificial borders. The border from Russia to the autonomous republic (?) of Georgia was made by Lenin in 191x (don't know it exactly) artificially. The "nation" of Georgia is different from the "nation" of Ossetia. Maybe later I will explain it better but now I haven't got the time.

just makes me think.. russia is allied with iran. iran is allied with china (oil, etc). india, pakistan. taiwan (us vs china). one thread and the whole situation could unravel.
