Long time ago i had an archive called Virtual Drugs.. most of them are DOS but they are still pretty fun (some of em at least).

Aros magic fractals - program which has huge fractals and u can zoom in etc.
acid warp - pretty nice visuals
flasher - doesnt work here anymore
lsdspiral - pretty nice too
particle toy - very neat program :) press enter and spacebar to reset ^^
pinwheel - whats in a name
plasma - doesnt work here anymore
puddle - lame program turning your screen into water and your cursor into a drop.
sassy - headache stuff
tetripz - great form of tetris where u can pick about 6 kinds of drugs.. visuals/hardness increases when you get to next levels.. really nice :)

its pretty weird program and not meant for druggies, but it can create some nice visuals ^^

EDIT: i just played your game and its really nice. i really like the sandbox mode too ^^

Hahaha, plasma pong was the first thing I thought about reading the topic's name :D

After that tetrips (tetris gonne bad), but I don't know if it's still somewhere on the web...

A few years ago I had the virtual drugs pinwheel (without the rest of the virtual drugs, wich I do have since a year) and I was on mdma.
I looked at it for 50 minutes straight and I saw my room morphing over and over and over again for the next 1,5 hours :mrgreen:


*edit: Here's the tetrips game, last played on my 120mhz pentium , so I don't know if it'll run on anything better then a pentium 2

I don't believe it is real easy to use but Xenodream can create 3d Fractals, like mandalas, creautures, plants :D Check out some galleries like this one:

Alright guys, time for the next trippy software :


Electricsheep is a screensaver, but a special one. It creates fractal graphics video by itself using your cpu when it's free, and also download videos generated by other user automatically...

The great thing is the fact that there's an infinity of different looking videos, there's sometime a great similitude between one video and another (but that doesn't remove the beauty of them anyway), but sometimes the soft create a WONDERFUL, totally original fractal that'll make you watch it again and again !

There's also a whole story of "artificial life" behind this soft, I'll just give you an extract of the readme :

"While you are watching the screen-saver, if you see a sheep you like
(or dislike) you may vote for it by pushing the up (or down) arrow
key. These votes are transmitted to the server and used to drive the
evolution of the sheep: sheep that receive more votes live longer and
have sex with each other, producing offspring with a family
resemblance."

Yay, those guys are nuts, but that's just great considering what they've created !
