Well it started out from racist perspectives, or at least racism was used to get support for drug laws from large portions of the American population. Marijuana supposedly forced mexican laborers to be violent and rape white girls. Cocaine made black people aggresive and rape white girls. Opium made chinese people lazy and rape white girls. This type of propaganda was used continuously until at least the sixties and one might even say that the crack scare was racist as well. I think race is pretty much out the drug picture now, though it may still be present in some places (like the southern states).

Yes. But to above, cocaine really does tend to make people aggressive scummy assholes, no matter what the race and opium addicts tend to become scummy lazy people quite often. Ive seen both it happen to friends, I know it doesnt happen to every one that does them, but it happens to every regular user of cocaine and opium, and If you cant admit it your in fucking denial.
