É musica para trips indescritivel. Simplesmente a musica mais psicadélica e surpreedente que já ouvi.

É um projecto do mestre da electrónica Simon Posford com Raja Ram que mistura sonoridades de trance e ambient psicadélico com musica tradicional do mundo todo, sendo o tema principal a experiencia psicadélica.

Têm dois albuns, 'Are you Shpongled?' e 'Tales of the Inexpressible'. Gosto especialmente do primeiro, mas o segundo tambem é impressionante.

3-4g de cubensis, um quarto escuro e um bom sistema de som tocando Shpongle é uma combinação impossível de descrever com palavras ou qualquer outro tipo de comunicação humana (exceptuando telepatia ).

Como os próprios autores dizem, Shpongle não é musica, é um lugar.

Oiçam com atenção. Deixem-se transportar para a dimensão Shpongle. MP3 não funcionam, desculpem. É musica tão detalhada e pormenorizada que só os 1408kbps dum CD original lhe poderão fazer justiça.

Hehehe claro que legal demais! Com remixes de Ott, Prometheus e Eat Static, o que mais quer?
A coisa interessante é que parece que com Shpongle quase não é possivel fazer remixes, porque cada canções ja parece ser uma mixturada de tantas formas de música. Mas incrivelmente conseguiram!
Embora, eu prefiro os primeiros dois discos, tão original e musical!

Outros conselhos quanto a musica desse tipo?

Com o detalhe e construção de Shpongle, infelizmente não conheço mais nada.
Existem outros projectos de ambient/dub de Simon Posford tambem muito bons como Dub Trees e Younger Brother.

E existem outras bandas de ambient psicadélico muito boas como Alpha Wave Movement, Carbon Based Lifeforms, Abakus, Shakatura entre muitos outros...

Mas como shpongle tenho pena de dizer que nunca ouvi nada que se possa sequer comparar :idontknow:

POis é, verdade...

o problema também é que depois de Shpongle tudo se compare a Shpongle. Mas bom, se voce gosta de dub, pode crê que os albos de Bluetech e Ott (também de Twisted Recs, foi ele que fez Hallucinogen in Dub, junto com S.Posford) são igualmente bons!
