I'll give you an example....the cops in this state violate the constitution ALL THE TIME....they will get out of their cars and STAND on the side of the road, both sides, and peer into your vehicle as you roll through the stop sign....ostensibly to 'make sure' you are wearing your seatbelts. It is a crime not to wear your seatbelt, you know...gotta protect us fro our own stupidity.

Hoiwever, anything they see, such as a passenger smoking something that even REMOTELY resembles anything that isn't a Marlboro, then you're stopped, really searched, and possibly arrested.

By itself, this is a clear and flagrant violation of the 4th amendment of trhe US constitution....using this illegal act to search you, based on something that MIGHT be going on, is CLEARLY AND PATENTLY illegal. In legal terms, this called 'the fruit of a poisoned tree'...meaning that the very development of probable cause itself was illegal.

As far as what you said about the community feeling the need to reach out and 'help' the drug user, well, when someone FORCES 'help' on you, it ceases to be 'help' and it becomes HURT.

Just as daytripper, I was talking about some imaginary and perfect government. Theory and practice are two poles they shouldn't be.

It really makes me worry what I hear bout bans and censorship in the states. This is very very dangerous. Just to give examples: as I hear, the government is taking away any form of sexuality from the TV, drugs from the public (you're not allowed to smoke on the streets, are you? I can imagine alcohol being attacked, too, so even the two last legal drugs are being banned) and proper education from school (no evolution theory at school?? WTF???). This is a CLEAR act of pure MANIPULATION and PROPAGANDA. Uniformisation, cleansing, one nation.

probably agreed. But I believe that in the movies the ppl are not allowed to smoke or something and there are no alcohol ads. And you're not allowed to smoke in the public. So all the smokers and drinkers are sittin' quiet in their rooms and when they are all allone it gets illegal *boom*

On the subject of what is taught in the schools here;

This state has been sued, and lost, more times by the ACLU than any other in this country for basically bringing full blown religion into the classroom. These yokels do NOT understand that they are oppressing people with this shit....

Whether or not evolution is 100% error free as a theory is TOTALLY irrelevant...
it is a theory of pure science based on consensus, and it is, like it or not, the very best thinking we have developed to date on how we came to be at all.

Again, for the Luddites....the proof of the general accuracy of the theory is all around, but you have to remove the religion blinders.....

Grow a few generations of weed under lights and watch it evolve yourself...

Brreding, heredity, its all related to evolutionary theory, and the indirect examples of it are numerous and noteworty.
