Well heres some informationabout the salvia prohibition in Australia.
Complete disregard for any kind of rights, or ability to protest against administrative decisions that are made by unelected officials.

Complete ass-fuck of personal freedom.

its the white people's fault ; )

sucks if salvia does get a national ban. (in the us I mean), needless to say, it wont be that hard to grow SD like MJ, since well most people dont even know wtf salvia is. that is to say what it even looks like...

lol i have a sage garden...i could grow it amidst the other salvias :P

Yes, totally a bit at a time. Reminds me how the whole no-smoking movement progressed a bit at a time as well, first with totally legit things like banning smoking in public bulidings, hospitals.. then it went to private establishments like restaraunts, then bars.. now cigarettes are banned in some parks, some apartment buildings and even some towns in Canada. (You can be damn sure this will affect how and if MJ will ever be legalized.)
As far as our government goes, I'm pretty ashamed these days about a lot of things from Kyoto to the recent death penalty debacle.. but squat all I can do about it. This country is turning more neo-con by the second. The people have decided.

It's always interesting to watch people's

'Line In The Sand'

move back another meter or three....

I don't know how to say this but.. an estimated 16-20% of Canadians use illegal substances on a regular basis. If we stood up for ourselves things would change. But 500 people show up on Marijuana march day. We have only ourselves to blame for our passivity and for this progression of events.

spice a dit:
It's a good thing that psychonauts still have safe havens such as Canada and the Netherlands to fall back on, or do we?

Canada recently passed a whole slew of laws designed to put people who mess with drugs in prison for lengthy sentences. The Canadian Crown (government) are stooges and lackeys of the neo-cons, allowing the US DEA to abduct Canadian citizens, IN CANADA, in the middle of the night and forcibly, illegally, extradite them across the border to face American charges....

As to the Netherlands, well, I hate to say it, but it looks like you guys are going to get to see, firsthand, how an evangelical religious whack-o can ruin it for you too.....A few years ago, they cracked down on the cannabis biz, at the behest of the neo-cons....now, the illegalization of mushrooms.....

People, it's called GRADUALISM, this continual erosion of any kind of freedoms, replacing them with laws 'for our own good'......

The only thing standing in their path is awareness.

The ban isn't in place yet, there is still a chance for liberals, socialists and anyone non religious wacko in the parliament to stand up and say no.
I just have to keep hoping.
