Has anyone ever tripped so hard they didn't even know they were trippin?

I dosed around 10, and waited till 12 and I convinced myself I wasn't tripping, I literally started to get tired and was going to go to sleep. For two hours my friend was tripping and I thought I wasn't...until I looked into the mirror and saw my pupils huge as fuck.. Has anyone ever tripped themselves out of a trip? If that makes any sense? It was weird because I seriously thought I wasn't tripping..
