I don't like tryptamine and phenethylamine hallucinogens. LSD, Psylocibin, and others all, without fail, invoke a sense of paranoia and anxiety that I truly dislike feeling. MDMA being the sole exception (if you can even call it a hallucinogen). Even MDA is a bit harsh.
However, I very much love the dissasociative route to hallucination. I've used DXM extensively, and treasure those experience. They are far more altering to me than my trips from traditional hallucinogens, but the anxiety component is entirely lacking. If anything I feel more so calm on disassociatives that I don't mind losing the feeling f my body or that I feel dead. Ketamine and DXM are simply amazing things. Unfortunately, the latter is impossible to obtain for me.
Anyone else have this same preference?
