i am PRO-GOD on the issue of clarity, and i think/thought that we were making headway until this new ban. wtf. i think you forget, these are two of the most valuable contributers to this community, despite the undertones of their personalities.
read in between the lines, fools. look at what all of you have done by exacerbating this entire issue, (god and cm not excluded, as well as ALL of you for causing or letting this happen) nearly all of you now seem to all have your own personal witch hunt. be it after a person or not, idea of what the site should be, etc etc.

the site is what it is. lets ALL work to change it into something better, not complain about what you YOU you dont like. the good bits changed will shine through, and the bad bits will die. dont act like a five year old.

i do appreciate the maturity(audacity) by the leading posters like fork and st bot. and spice, as well as psychoid, even though you dont all agree, you guys are moving things in the right direction i believe. we have to debate and argue to move forward, shit it's the premise this site was built on. it's just this who did this and who did that crap that we either need to write one big, long fucking near never ending story, so everyone can see, and feel better cause everyone can know now, and get over it. or stfu and move on. do your thing. leave or deal. i personally dont need a story, but i feel like some members might.

i'd give cm and god both a reality check slap in the face for getting bothered by each other in the first place. as well as anyone who feeds into personal-issue arguements. (which are forum rules btw. thanks for posting those leo. really.)

now im not saying things can go back to being easy and fun again, im saying there needs to be alot of change, not just with the people, but with the actual interface of the site. things like maybe visually muting other members (to themselves) in a particular topic, or some kind of other momentous moves like that. we need to think big here, because obviously what we're doing isn't working the way it COULD. we have infinite possibilities, it only looks finite because the space we're in is defined by "psychonaut.com"

i think a delicate combination of that^ and maybe some additions to the site functions are in order, and long overdue. i dont know how site funds are going, but i've said before that i'd be willing to do whatever i can to help this website go far, and i still stand by it

Please unban now! This is ridiculous. The Admin(fork) should help to work out all these problems. He is pretty capable of doing this, and we where already going to take things less seriously. I have stayed away a couple of days, because i can't see how the owner doesn't feel responsible, unless he gets complaints.

I do have an updated version of phpbb3 with a small portal. It's already installed, and copying this design into this new forum is easy step. If the owners want to change something, then try to help me. Getting this board installed on psychonaut.com An example of it!

As you see, the banner and some colors need to be changed. And psychonaut can be updated in a day. phpbb3 has a lot of features, that helps mods and admin's to moderate everything. There are even features, that could prevent situations like did happen in this thread.

So what about a new start, without ******* interfering us in keeping this community website up! Who votes for a yes, please scream it loud out, now. If enough of you are interested, i will fix the design and will put it in files and send it to the owners. And i hope that they understand that we can't wait any longer. If now not something get's done with this board, then we are floating around in a sinking ship! If we are not already drowned.

Please help me, and each other, to learn from this mistakes. So we can have whole new journey ahead!

Yes i talk about the layout, but mainly it's all about the system. The system that now has been used, is phpbb2(one of the oldest versions.) in a combination with Joomla.

phpbb3, has LOTS of futures for moderators, it's far more save and it's not without reason one of the best free opensource boards that are on the internet these days. A lot of problems could already have been sold by using phpbb3. It's a very beautiful system and nobody will have regrets

In fact the owner already started with new version of psychonaut.com, but sadly enough his work does not process fast enough.

The layout, don't worry about that. It's easy to redesign the psychonaut design for the phpbb3 forum. It's even possible to make in that way, that you hardly won't find the different's.

There are severall reasons for that. The communication(my error) didn't went as it should have been. This was mainly because the owner first wanted to meet me, which scared me a bit, i guess. Especially because i didn't show up, after my car was broken So i stopped mailing and vice versa.

It's pretty hard to find a good solution for psychonaut. But there are a couple, maybe the owner has to many doubts what solution he should use. He already has a phpbb3 version installed on one of his servers. But i guess the problem starts with the frontpage, or the portal. So i guess he can't figured it out, or has not enough time to do so at his self.

In the end. I am still avaible to update the forum. If someone can give me the ftp and sql usernames and passwords. That i would install it directly, and backing up everything so there can no mistakes be made. Then next week, we could already work on phpbb3.

I think you could start a new topic, that would be much more visible. I bet you would get support from the whole community on it, hence showing the owner that it's definately a good idea

We appreciate the feedback and the help people offer. Unfortunately, we have learned from the past that such things often don't work out very well.

The phpbb3 software for the new forum was installed some time ago, and it will without doubt be a great improvement with many new features. This includes features that will make moderating easier and less time consuming. As soon as the design for the front page is finished we will update the boards (and its existing database).

Regarding the banning of CM and GOD: they both say that at this point they do not wish to participate in the forum. They have also been in contact with each other, through email.

We are looking forward to present you the new psychonaut soon. Sort of like starting off with a clean slate

yeah its an international site, so it bothers me when the whole frontpage is full of french which i dont understand. Your frontpage should be in 1 language and the subdivisions could be a whole range of languages as long as I dont have to see it
