Hello all,

Just wondering if anyone could give me some more information and/or tips on this. I plan on cutting the top of my San Pedro and bringing it home. I have moved away from my parents home, and I wanted to bring my San Pedro but it got to big, so I plan on cutting the top part which is all new growth, it is about 8 inches. Do I just slices this, then dry the end of the cutting? I have already rooted so I know how to do this, but the cutting I just want to make sure it is as simple as I thought it would be. Also how to prevent the end from molding, is there some way to quickly dry it?

peace, love, light & unity!

Take cuttings with warm weather, so that the cuttings will dry faster.

You can dry cuttings with a big cutting-surface with a heater (1000-2000 watt).
Place the cuttings at 50 cm distance, control the temperature of the cuttings.
The drying time is 2-3 hours.

Strong sunlight is best if you got it.

What kind of Trichocereus is that a picture of in your avatar MrCactus? Nice flower!

A tip shot - the top 20-30cms to be precise and a bigger pic of your avatar if you would be so kind.

The local sanpedro here doesn't have as nice a flower as that.
