SASKATOON -- Police have withdrawn a charge of methamphetamine production against 18-year-old Lewis Casey after mistakenly identifying a lab found in his home as a crystal meth lab.

Casey, who lives in the 100 block of Ninth Avenue East with his parents, is still charged with possessing components of explosive devices in conjunction with materials discovered in the lab.

Police arrived at Casey’s house on Thursday with a search warrant and discovered what they initially believed to be a methamphetamine lab in the garage.

They’ve since released a statement saying the lab was being used only to produce explosives.

It was an honest mistake, says Insp. Jerome Engele of the Saskatoon Police Service. Many of the chemicals found in the lab are similar or identical to those needed to produce methamphetamine and clandestine labs are typically drug-related.

My thoughts exactly. I believe there's a zen quote somewhere that goes something along the lines of "Hiding Truth is like hiding the moon...futile."


The more chemicals that are restricted will eventually reach what I believe a backwards effect...an inversely proportional system...where as the list of restricted chems goes up, the War effort goes down...


Imagine a world where almost every chemical was on some DEA list...it would impossible to regulate. It's a waste of energy and more importantly, and this is key, it's a waste of $$$$$!

That is all big brother cares about really, just money...and when that is threatened, perhaps they will reconsider their agenda...

Did anyone else notice all the obama people were always smiling and looking into the camera . All the others are still doing it......but obama isnt . He looks troubled and doesnt look into the camera much and doesnt laugh . Look at his body language . I wonder what he found out...........
