Those pics were taken today at our paintball meeting.

Was LOADS of fun, very nice people, not a single "I WANNA DO IT LIKE TEH MILITAREES!!!11" whiner, and I even managed to hit something else than my own foot this time, which is not a small feat., considering I couldn't sleep the night before because of my freaking allergies.

...which doesn't mean I didn't got headshoted quite a few times, as you can see :mrgreen:

Below are the pics of something I was building in the past two days: another wall.

The first couple of pictures are how it used to be (as a shop). I'll leave it up your imagination as to what is going to take place here in the future. Oh, and some very good luck the day before yesterday: the landlord offered to lower the monthly rent by 225 euros!

Some months ago:

Then there was a failed attempt at burglary.

And I decided to count all articles and put them in boxes. Now the shop was (almost) empty:

OK, let's build another wall!

Working very hard and high.

Of course: sound isolation inside the wall.

Finished, but boring.

Already a bit groovier (still needs painting though):

Darkness! 8)

Still to do: paint the foam in gold, get various artists to decorate all the walls (clouds, vines, etc.) with normal and day-glo paint, get some good, thick curtains, and blacklights.

The interesting thing is that I didn't even ask for a lowering of the rent.
I simply said I was going to close my shop because I don't have
money anymore to buy new products. He told me I was bound by
a contract and had to continue paying the rent. So we agreed to meet
on Wednesday and discuss things with his partner.

On Monday I decided that if I would have to pay the rent anyway, I
might as well turn it into a therapeutic center. That way I would
have fulfilled at least one more of my dreams, even if only
temporarily (say, if I go completely bankrupt in half a year or so). So
I bought some wood and started building that wall. Then the
landlord came passing by and saw me. I told him I had another idea
in mind, a therapeutic center, for which I needed a more secluded
place. He didn't object.

So on Wednesday we met, and he spontaneously offered to lower
the rent. When I moved in the rent was 1300 a month, now it's 900. Is it
a sign? I don't know, but as I walked home I just exclaimed
"wow wowww wowwww" for five minutes. :lol:

Does anyone wanna help painting (clouds, vines, etc.)?

Yes, though I'm creating a guest room (ground floor, behind that other wall I built about a year ago) where clients can stay overnight.

Yes, ideas and designs are more than welcome! Two days ago I learned that there's a technique where you use a beamer to project an image, and use that projection to paint the image on the wall.
