I live in Encinitas just 20 min north of san diego. i dont realy want to start from scratch so i figured id snatch a baby. any segestions on where to look?

U want to steal cacti from someones garden?
San Diego have "hot" climate. U need to download bunch of pictures of Tricho cacti. And go in hunt! 8)
But if U want to buy them try in big garden stores or Internet shops.
I can, everyone, place some shops which are good.

i just bought 150 peruvian seeds, suposidly guarenteed germination. after a few months ill have a bunch, if your looking for some babies.

yup, iv grown a few types of cacti from seed so far. the only problem iv had was the first time trying to germinate pedro/peruvian, i did it completely wrong. but now i think i have mastered the art of germination:P

once i get them going, ill post some pics

You can find San Pedro on my balcony, LOL ;)

Joke aside, can you get some San Pedro cuttings? Because if you can they are as easy to grow as nothing else. Just put a cutting in soil/sand, give it some water and it will grow. The only problem you can get is if there is not enough sun (like here in Europe, but you won't have that problem!) but as long as there is regular sunlight and heat, you can water them daily and they grow like weeds!

Hello,

I have some in my shop Nomad Botanicals Nomad.ecrater.com
However- I don't have the big Bridgesii or Pachanoi (san pedro) listed.
You can contact me thru my webpage for details.

I also carry baby cactus specimen, and seeds, if you wish to grow your own from scratch. Live plants are a quicker route, and can more quickly be cloned to expand your collection.

Thanks,

Matthew
