So I did mushrooms yesterday night. It was.. surreal, to say the least.
It was me and my two friends, Adam and Daniel, over at Daniels apartment.
I have no idea of the weight of the mushroom, but we ate 1 giant fresh mexican cubensis each, swallowing the awful tasting, juice dripping, semi-moldy mushroom together with bread and coca cola under a period of about half an hour.
We've done acid together before and had a great set and setting, with lots of food, a small apartment in which we would't get disturbed and company of good friends.
During the onset we watched a two-three (don't really remember) shows of Futurama, just relaxing and waiting for something to happen.
After about an hour I noticed how I was suddenly smiling, feeling more euphoric than ever. I felt warm and cozy and just couldn't stop smiling.
The walls slowly started to breathe, something I recognized from my previous trips on acid, while the texture of the wallpapers started to dance and form different patterns.
I decided not to dwelve in my own consciousness as I have done before; this time it was pure experimental and just for fun.
After another hour of talking and having a great time enjoying the visuals and listening to music which seemed to grab you by the heart and just move you around, I looked at my hand.
The skin had turned green and sort of transparent, and the texture of it seemed awfully weird. I went to the bathroom to look at myself in the mirror;
I was as green in my face as on my arm, and my mouth suddenly looked awfully big. I realized that I was turning into a frog, which felt kind of weird (but also very exciting). 30 minutes later my hand was back to normal and I felt disappointed for still being human. Oh well..
It was getting dark outside by now, but as it was still warm outside I decided to leave my friends early in order to take a longer walk home.
Upon stepping outside, putting some Sphongle on on the iPod and looking up, I saw waves in the sky. "Hm, I must be seeing radio waves", I thought to myself.
My breathing felt weird. More clean and fresh than ever, and when looking around me, I noticed that all plants and trees around were breathing with me.
I felt as if I was one with the plants, and it felt wonderful. Everything around me was so alive and I was so happy to be a part of it, connecting to every living thing in the universe. A walk that normally take me fifteen minutes took me an hour, just slowly walking around everything, climbing a tree, lying down on a big grass field and looking up while shpongle echoed in the background along with chirping birds, and butterflies flying around me.
Light posts around the road lit up the place to a surreal fantasy land and I do believe that this was one of the most intense experiences in my life.
While lying down there, it felt as if I melted down and merged with the grass, truly becoming one of everything. I can't describe it with words, but it was.. wow.
On a side note, all my thoughts and feelings during the trip felt like it wasn't really me creating them, but more as if I was given these thoughts by some external source. The whole thing felt kind of spiritual and organic, as if it actually was the mushroom leading the way. It felt bizarre, yet very humbling and exciting.
I came home, ate a few strawberries and went to bed, thinking about what I had just gone through. I can't wait to try eating mushrooms again. <3
