I think I would read this book just to get insight in how one can get physics so wrong, and be so paranoid, and write a book.

He sounds like a paranoid schizophrenic who has alot of time on his hands, and has been browsing wikipedia's physics sections for the past 4 years.

(Although most of his ideas were pre-2001, so he actually probably picked up some books - way to be!)

I have to admit that is why I put the thread here, that is my general impression.

He also shouts down people who asks him questions which is a sure sign he has no real answers but I could not look myself in the face if I did not at least get some external feedback on the topic.

True, but if you actually read the book - just searching Google for the author + title comes up with a torrent for it on the first page, you'd understand that to argue with it would be... well, 100's of pages long. No one wants to read a 100 page forum post.

I really can't imagine being able to go through the book piece by piece like that.

Things it says:

The Russians have EM waves that do this!

They didn't only use metal softening, they have other techniques.

He says that they are also responsible for Hurricane Katrina.

Oh I thought I was fairly clear.

I thought the whole book was entirely ridiculous. So much so I started off preferring the thread deleted.

Then I realised good comedy is hard to find so I provided some quotes.

I find it hard to believe that for several billion dollars they now have a weapon that could give me AIDS from 10,000 miles away and that means I should be scared.
