When working with a Liter or quart size bottle of MHRB acidic solution,
You really don't need a PH meter.
for a good base add 1 Tablespoon lye per 100ml water & mix thoroughly.
add this basic solution to your 1L bottle. this will turn the solution all Black.
and it'll be @ PH 13.5, works every time.
Also a crockpot is idea for a heat bath, this will reduce emulsions rapidly.

Hear that. Still, I didnt manage to get a lot out of it. About 70mg from 120 grams powdered mhrb. Or is that about right? I now realize I did not even check the expected yield before hand.

From 120g of powdered MHRB you should of gotten well over 500mg !!
that's if the MHRB was 0.57%, it may have been very poor quality bark uke:

I dont know the potence of this plant but lets suppose its 1% (almost double that of average mimosa).

50mg seems to be the prefered dose. So to smoke 50mg of DMT, you need 5 grams of leave. The trick is, to completely smoke 5 grams of this plantmaterial within 90 seconds. This is virtually impossible and you have to realize, even if you succeed, you will get 1% dmt in and 99% bullshit (plantmaterial).

The good news though is, its quite easy to extract DMT at home

I have some cabrerana left from my last ayahuasca get together and one of my friends insisted on smoking some. I told him it would not do anything but he went ahead anyway. The most noticeable effect was my house smelling of burning leaves and my dumbass friend going into a coughing fit.

Just a t(r)ip for everyone. I got a kilo mexican rootbark that supposedly should have 1.8% DMT opposed to the average of 0,57%. I extracted 50 grams of it last night and when I checked this morning, it looks like its definitaly holding up to that.

Did a batch of 120 grams yesterday. For some reason, its dirtier than the bark I had before. I had to combine all three extractions and let it sit overnight so all these tiny particles could settle on the bottom. This morning, I poured of 2 liters of water/vinegar, hopefully holding about 2 grams of DMT.
