Hi everone, this is my first post, hope your all well.
With many drugs there is always the advice that you should have a sitter in order to minimise any risks (especially salvia, and probably mushrooms on a high dose). The problem i have had is that a lot of people ive used as sitters have been absoloutely useless. They either get in the way, dont know what to do or even make things worse. I think there should be a 'sitters guidebook' that bullet points what to do in certain circumstances depending on substance, dose, environment and the state of the person your sitting for. I was thinking something like this -
rule one of sitting - dont let the tripper come to any harm what so ever.
rule two of sitting - dont let the tripper use a telephone to phone anybody.
rule three of sitting - Be reassuring and comforting toward the tripper if they start to freak out.
rule four of sitting.......................etc.
If there was a guide book that was like this (but better) then sitters would know what they were getting into and how to handle the situation. Ive been in situations before were its crossed my mind 'oh shit! should i phone an ambulance? should i notify there parents? luckily i never in either situation, but i would have liked some guidelines on what to do in sticky situations. Any ideas or contributions?
