adora_taco a dit:Salvia is
BAD
yes, i've taken it.
i've taken LOTS of crap in my life.
now, you think you know that Salvia is a GOOD thing and should STAY legal?
are you KIDDING ME?
yeah, what a great message to the future...to the kids. try THIS one...it's "legal" or it's "safe"
do something with your life...like why not help people? keep your brain cells, and keep your emotions in tact for your entire short life.
Salvia is BAD NEWS for anyone who takes it. yep...sure is fun and healthy to lose your shit for 5 minutes! wow! you must be proud of yourselves!
GROW UP! get a REAL hold of yourself. it takes a LOT more balls to go through life without substances than with.
you think you are all STRONG for trying to take a stance for a Dissociative substance that makes you feel like you are on angel dust, whipets, and mushrooms? LMAO! yeah! that's some GOOD stuff!
"oh, maybe for you adora_taco, but not for us...get away from here". i can just hear ir now from you all. and yes...i have tried it many times along with every other drug. so bite me. this crap is DANGEROUS.
get real.
Salvia SHOULD be illegal and WILL be eventually once enough people are killed by driving while smoking it...THANK GOD...unfortunately, it will just take enough people to die on the roads to make it illegal. or enough people to fall out of a window. nothing like dieing for a good cause. if you think i'm kidding, you obviously haven't tried the 50x proof Salvia.
once again...GROW UP PEOPLE!
I believe you're putting Salvia in the class of a classic narcotic, which it is not. Salvia is not a drug. It's not LSD. It's not cocaine, nor heroin.
(Also note that Salvia is indeed safe. Salvinorum A is a nontoxic chemical which reacts with the k-opioid receptor, unlike other hallucinagents which work on the serotonin receptor and the akin.)
Its purpose is for meditative and introspective uses only. One who abuses it, or treats it like a drug defeats Salvia's purpose on this planet. These people are often uneducated, unaware and quite frankly, uncaring of Salvia.
The reason it is indeed legal is because its strongest effects last five to fifteen minutes (if smoked), and no more than an hour if the leaf is chewed. People like Dr. Phil (Who will likely shed a negative light on the meditative purposes of Salvia,) and the many ignorant teenage Youtube users who have posted videos--- make Salvia out to be something it is not.
It is also noted that no evidence supports your comment about Salvia killing brain cells, or impairing memory or motor function.
Mushrooms were legal at one time, but people abused their purpose and used them as a way to 'escape' reality, instead of using it to better understand it therein.
I fear that the un-educated populous will look at Salvia the same. It must be noted that this plant deserves ornate respect and understanding before one uses it for introspective meditation.
Those who use Salvia with respect do not use it in an environment which would harm them. It is often done in a quiet, slightly lit, or dark room.
Natural herbs, such as Cannabis, Mushrooms, Salvia; etc-- were put on this planet for a reason. That reason should and must be respected. If the plant had no purpose, it would not exist.
