If they are fresh and the cap is open you could try making a spore print. Cut of the cap and place it on a piece of paper with an inverted glass over it in the dark. You can google to see how you make a syringe out of a print.

Yes but not for you and it would be expensive and time consuming .
Its a common falacy that spore syrynges are sterile . The syrynge and the water were sterile but the spores werent . Theoreticaly there is a way to make a sterile spore syrsnge but not realy practicably exept by specialist scientists in the best sort of sterile laboratory . Sterility is relative to the time / money / effort you put into it .
Basicaly . Take a spore print and either scrape the spores off into a syrynge or put the spore print in the syrynge . Then suck up sterile water and shake like fuck . Useing a glove box helps very much . To make a realy good one it will only cost you a few hundred euros . You have to make yourself a box from something that can be sprayed with alcohol / sagrotan / melisept . Leave the front side half open so you can put your hands under it and buy yourself a hepa filter from a big chain store . Fix the output vent of the hepa filter to a hole of the same size on the back wall of the box so it can blow sterile air through the box and out of the half sided hole where you put your hands in . Then if you keep your hands sterile and spray the inside of the box and everything in it you will have the best sterility that is posible for a normal mortal .
It sounds hard but it isnt . Its as hard as building a box , drilling some holes , cutting a bit out and screwing a hepa filter on the back .

The hepa filter costs about 200 Es and you can either use it for just a small glove box to do inoculations / make spore prints / syrynges in or make it bigger and have your spawn jars in it to . Then if you get a bit bigger you can do the same with a room . Just get the hepa filter blowing from the outside into the room and you have a sterile over preasure lab . = Few contaminents come into your room with the air that usualy comes in when you open the door because the air is blowing from inside outwards .
And then you have next to no problems with contaminents for the rest of your life .

I know YOU cant do it and i know I probably can . If there are spores on them i can get them off and cultivate them . As Meduzz said they are survival structures and they can be on the mushrooms , even if its just in a dryed stain , or on / inbetween the gills . I would dry them with a desicator , then powder them with my fingers through a very fine sieve , wash the powder with distilled water and then filter that through progresively finer sieves untill i had spore water . Then i`d filter that again so that anything smaller the a spore would fall through . After that i would beam the water with UV for a few hours and with that liquid try and cultivate the spores on agar .
