hey! welcome to the forum!! i have been travelling in asia for a while also and it was amazing.. nevertheless i would say just be a bit careful and try to trust your natural intuition and feeling, without being too paranoid!! as far as i can tell there are many nice and open minded people and if you are like that, too then i can see no reason why it shouldn't be fun.. enjoy your trip!!!
