DXM Experience.......

Well....DXM May not be one of the more " Recommended " sources for a nice trip/high........But i must admit...It tickles my fancy more then alot of other things i've experienced with. For those of you that don't know what DXM Is.....I strongly reccomend reading up on it on <A href="Http://www.erowid.org/"> Erowid </a>. I experimented with it once again last night with a friend of mine, and would like to share this experience with everyone here.



It began in a suddle manner. Like always, it takes you through the innitiating 3 phases. Blurred vision, Slight numbness, and then the enjoyment of life. After those, the main plateague is reached. ( This experience is with roughly 750-800mg's each ) After awhile of just rolling around the floor, and enjoying the loud music being played, my friend that was experiencing this with me went into the other room, and found an old halloween mask. He put it on and chased after me. Now....This had to be the most intense part of our experience. Looking at him with this mask on, honestly scared me half to death. He would then chase me around until he cornered me, and then take off the mask, and hand it to me. and i would do the same. This is extremely hard to explain, But once the mask is placed on, you are honestly a totally different person. You become whatever mask it is ( In this case, a glowing white mask from the movie " Scream ") Looking at my friend, I honestly got urges to try and scare him as much as i can, and he did the same. It was as if i was looking through the eyes of someone else. Most intense.

We did this for about a good 4 hours, until reality slowly was brought back to our attention

Anyone else have anything about DXM Experiences? ^_^

I used Robotussin Maximum Strength Cough. Each 4oz bottle contains 352mg's ( I believe ).....And i used an extraction process also found on Erowid....The one using Amonnia, lighter fluid, and lime?.....I did that, WITHOUT the second extraction process.....When you mix it with the lime, instead of seperating the layers again, just boil it for 6 minutes......Then your good to go ^_~....

For the two of us, i used 4 4oz bottles....

G'luck if anyone conciders....Its deffinately well worth it ^_^. IMHO

Chugging cough syrup is deffinately nasty, Hence why i do the extraction proccess......As for my elaboration on " Ass in a glass " ...Its prolly the most disgusting thing you'll ever drink /forum/images/graemlins/puke.gif....Hence why i only make one shot worth.

Which active ingrediants?...Anything that contains ONLY Dextromethorphan Or DXM HBR.....OrDextromethorphan Hbr, which is the same thing, just named different on different products. And If you could perhaps show where i can purchase pure DXM Powder online, I'd greatly appreciate it ^_^....

there are a lot of coughing pills that contain dxm i alway's use them from the etos in groningen. if you use it dont forget to crush the pills very well ore else the trip can take 3 day's and you dont want that to happen.

I had this crazy dream last night that i had some kind of telepathical connection with myself in another world or dimension and i felt on the other me some typical DXM skin irritation on my face and my chest.

It was really weird, like i had a connection with myself :goodman: but i slowly wake up by some noise and i felt like i returned to myself
Maybe it was just a weird fantasy dream but maybe it was real I'll never know.

But anyway I like DXM, i use it very rarely because i dont like the chemical taste and the hangover but its a really interesting psychedelic only the itchy skin can be pretty anoying during the trip but i found out last time that its all between my ears and if I believe that there is no itching there will be no itching.

Its funny how those things works, makes me wonder.. :nod:

I tripped regularly for a long time on DXM. I use robotusin 8 hour cough and cold pills. The MAIN cough pills out there. Makes a night of tripping like 5 bucks.

The trip is unique, and I highly recommend it. It seems that certain types of neoshaman wanna-bes don't find it appropriate in the psycho active family...because it's legal, cheap, and ...? The trip is...well, like being drunk, on shrooms, and on lsa at the same time. You get emerged into your own world...almost like you are in a dome with a world painted on the walls for you. Time is heavily distorted. Your muscles seem to be hyperflexed... you can run really really fast, and it doesn't seem real...you don't really get tired easily. You can become emotionally bonded with objects at higher dosages (350 mg and up for me)...I once cooked a waffle.... took a bite of it, and had a weird feeling that it wasn't right...so I put the waffle down on the floor (don't ask)...and I felt great again.

The bad trips aren't too harsh, they really just make you pace around and not know who you are, but as long as you have a sitter...it's pretty cool...you come out of it easily.

Yeah, I know it increases your seretonin output, and it increases your blood pressure. It's a typical high dose of an anaesthetic. I believe alot of the effects from it are caused by pretty much just scrambling receptor's signals...kinda like alchy and lsd. I don't know for sure though. I've tried to look this up before and oddly enough... there isn't a whole lot of info on HOW it works. It's stupid, I think schools should emphasize alot more on teaching how drugs work.

i've done pure powdered dxm twice why i did it twice is beyond me, i had no clue about it the first time and it was BAD, i figured its powder making it small which lead me to think that i needed a shit load of it, i was so very very very wrong, 5 to 6 hours of thinking i was dead and my body hadn't figured it out yet.

i dosed it like this: i took a gel cap, i don't remember what was in it origianly, emptied it and filled it with the straight powder, right aroung 1/2 a gram, maybe a little more or less.

the feeling for me of that high of a dose was out of body experience, may have been enjoyable if i hadn't thought i was going to robo trip, i managed to write down what i took incase someone found my body somewhere, i was interrupted by friends coming over, thank god, they babysat me for about 2 hours till i was down enough to be coherent, the next 3 days had linguring effects, i wondered if i would ever be normal again, i still wonder that now, 3 years later,
the second time was a much lower dose, i still didn't like it

i would recommend tussin or robatussin, definately not vick's formula 44d, that was proven to be killing little children a few years back, it may have changed but why risk that.

for me what I find the most special about dxm is that everything seems crazy, like when people say things it's like you can see that in fact they are just as crazy as you but you didn't notice before...and when you are high i don't know but incredible things always happen and I tell myself why is this kind of stuff only happening when i'm on dxm??? well it's maybe because when normal you don't notice these kind of things....anybody has same experience or could comment about this? I've always been wonderin...

actually most of the time I take 370mg (it's one pack here 7euros)...but I did once 555mg but I became so fucking red around my neck and chest that I got scared but it didn't make me badtrip more than 5min.....cos I knew it was going to be ok hehe, but well that kinda leaves me with never trying to reach the upper plateaus

as stupid as it may be, no it didn't teach me to be more careful, i just can't help but push and push, i probably won't do dxm again but i've said that before, then i did it again right away, if its there i'll do it, life is to long gotta knock off those wheelchair kidney dialasis years at the end. the high plateaus are definately crazy, though doing it alone is fucking stupid, if you want to reach the higher plains i suggest befriending a paramedic and have that person babysit. most of what happened was a blur, but i found it amazing that for a whlie i felt like i was someone else inside my head watching what i was doing. it seemed like a cross between pcp, ketamine and a badly acted horror film.
