This looks like a good device to spend some time making. It looks like it works very well. I can't say I have experience using it, but I was looking around, and found this,

i wouldnt use your lungs to smoke that. you cant even use brillo/steel wool in the food industry because tiny bits always break off. you would definately be inhaling steel no doubt about it

Hey buddy, i just smoke it through a normal weed pipe. Ok a little bit is wasted, because of the flame, but i still always break through every time.
Make sure you have a metal screen (gauze) in the pipe that is sort of old - you don't want to pull through too fast. Crumble some weed quite fine, sprinkle some of the dmt on top & then crumble more of the weed on top.
Take 3 big tokes & hold each toke in and in and in. By the time you take the 3rd you will feel it coming on. Put the pipe down & lie back!
I think that it can sometimes take a few goes of dmt for the brain to click into breaking through readily. Once those pathways have been created in the brain it becomes easier. That said some people go through straight away!

You just have to heat it and NEVER put any flame close to the DMT. Otherwise it gets destroyed immediately.
It melts to smoke at about 48 degrees (Celsius).
The best way is to use a gas lighter/burner with a constant flame which you keep UNDER the pipe and move it slowly closer, till the metal around the DMT has reached the point of 48 degrees. Then suck.

Can I do that with fist "large" light-ball?
Removed troth, DIMITRI inside, cutton on hole with one straw for me and one straw for air.
Then I will heat up crystals with lighter, vaporising in ball and then suck everything out of ball? Dimitri isn't big, low dose id enough, easy to vaporise. Similar to crack pipe or can pipe.

Brug - while I agree with you that is is much better practice not to burn the DMT , speaking from many, many experiences over the last 5 years (100+) of smoking it in a pipe, with some weed & using a run of the mill lighter, there are certainly no problems with getting a kick ass breakthrough.

Goran, I know you have probabaly discussed and thought of using a light bulb, but what is wrong with actually doing so? What I would do, is get a more round light bulb, not the 'frosted' ones, and take off the top where the light bulb screws on. Then find a cap for a 2-L coke bottle, and make two holes in it. One hole, make large enough so you can fit in a straw, and the other hole can be used as a 'choke'. Then just put your DMT in the bottom of the light bulb, heat from below, and then inhale, releasing the 'choke'. I do not have experience with this, but I do not see why it would not work. My only concern would be the heat from below could be to hot, and just melt the DMT. In that case, when heating with your lighter from below, go around the little pinch of DMT instead of directly under it.
I don't know, just a suggestion, tell me what you think, good luck, and hope you have a good experience if you find a way to smoke the DMT

DMT can be smoked as dope, only flame needs to be low and every vapor which will come out needs to be inhaled. First breath is crucial!!! If U miss first one huge tolerance builds for next 4-5 hours.

I have smoked Dimitri in long pipe, 50cm long, with so small "pipe", entrance, small like plum! 1/5 of tobacco-cigarette, then 30mg of Dimitri and after that more tobacco, something like 2/5 of cigarette. Low light, far from pipe opening, and when I sow that tobacco is burning, I inhale everything in one suck. One more suck to take everything out of pipe, only tiny dust with 10% of DMT and 2/10 of tobacco. But after first smoke! I described it here:
