Yea! I wonder what the deal is with it? I get inspiration for drawing by doing that, light sleepiness, I sit in meditation position and eyes up. Breathe in nose, out mouth.
Talking to my dad once he does the same thing, he calls his brain a cosmic filter - he thinks that the visions are due to your brain reading and and just using random information from electrical fields, the sun, cosmic rays, etc.
Some of them are so vivid I feel as if they become more than an image - they really become an item, as if they have a being, a body, a mass... When that happens, strong urge to sketch them. I hope to sketch this summer some more than I have been.
