just got that link from a friend today. I think it's hilarious, and pretty accurate!
I always think what's the fucking deal with asking people on the street what they think about something? When I watch the news I wanna hear a critical acclaim by some intelligent person who investigated the subject - not what John Doe on the streets "thinks" about it... however the dogma seems you always gotta ask "the people" in the streets about their opinion. Which is never an accurate picture of what people think because you'll only get statements from either very dumb people or people who wanna be on tv in the first place, and second these statements are selected by the journalist who wants to prove his point with these soundbites.
...and yes, please stop making puns like "the government has got to stop this" cut to a zoom towards a stop sign. We get it you have a major in literature and journalism. Make a point with a real argument, not with a cheap pun and matching footage...
