Are reproduced peyotes from the roots...

...let's say a full blooming peyote of 20 years old is harvested, will the new growing babies (eventually becoming adults of course) hold a higher percentage of alkaloids than their parent(s)?

I'm betting lineage plays a smaller role than the usual alkaloid factors (lighting, water offered, temperature). That being said, if you mean, would the newly created pups coming off of the roots be the same alkaloid level, I'd guess it would be higher than similar size pups growing on their own, but obviously far less than the 20 yr old. I couldn't imagine doing that to my 20 yr old, but hey, it would be memorable.
