Salvia Divinorum is referred to as a Teacher Plant.

So, what have you learned?

The first thing that most people learn is that you absolutely must have respect for the plant.

I have learned that reality is very subjective.
When you think about the physical world that is unscene - mircroscopic germs, dust, dust mites, etc., all that exist but go unseen, that is already a level of reality that exists that we never think about.
We see with the limitations of our eyes and ears.

Sometimes people talk about other's "vibe" or energy - that a person who is charming is giving you the creeps. Other times, you suddenly think of your friend, and they call, you decide out of the blue to go into a store you've never been in and see a friend you haven't seen for years that just happen to be in town for a couple of days, etc. There is some kind of thing at work.

And the we talk about angels, God, whomever, that is watching over us, so it doesn't seem unfeasable that it's possible to gain access to the "spirit world", as shaman do.

Beyond that, I feel like I've been left with a whole lot of information, and still digging through it, trying to make sense of it.

These two things. Gradually building up courage for a next time ;)

yeah, this is interesting, what do we learn with salvia, because it definetly seems like "she" is trying to teach something.
from what i've heard and translated (because i can't take it my self but absolutely love and understand all i heard and read about it) i think "she" likes to show us something about the concept of time that we (mankind) created, i remembering translating a trip report once about someone who smoked salvia and looked at the clock and it was 2:10 in the morning, and what seemed to be one hour later he/she looked at the clock and it was 2:02. I think salvia has something to say about that, like time doesn't really exist the way we measure it?

Also I think "she" wants us to realise the value of nature, of green, and how everything is connected, how we are all just one thing, the cosmos, the cells, one of us, all of us, how we are all one and the same system, and the past, the present, the future, the death and the living, the spirits... all one. that might help people to live better in this silly planet full of bullshit and ignorance and beautiful things.

that's my impression

in my last three trips she talked to me and showed me that I am part of a process, of a family. and that weather I want it or not (the case is that I don't), that I'm just part of it.

and in this part of my life I'm stuck, because I'm not joining in the process and family, and neighter braking free.

so I'm really hard trying to make up my mind. salvia helps

Salvia showed me (by making me experience it) the inexpressibility of the joy of the cosmic spirit. It's a big secret joke that you understand is funny, but cannot put to words.

And those other things, like reality being subjective, which is imo linked to this.

yeah, it's very difficult to explain the life and the universe, it's a secret, a feeling...
i think the film 2001 space oddisey explains it quite well, but it's a boring film (although really beautiful).

forest how can you break free from what you are a part of? it's impossible! the best thing to do is do what you can to be happy, i guess, that's what i do, there is no perfection, or everything is already perfect in the chaos.

alice

Then again: it's only chaos untill you see the patterns ;)

As for Forrest, just be a part of it, and make it so that you do a good part in it.
Give society something good, light up other people so that they can do their part and slowly but secure life gets more and more beautifull...

We're all part of the same entity and each and everyone of us has to do his part.
We have to take responsibility.
A lot of people say: hey those wars and fights and so on, it's not my problem and not my responsibility.
And that's just plain wrong, 'cause we're all cells of god.
Only it's up to us to make a choice and be a good cell of god.

I know, it sounds a bit idealistic and "floaty", but if more and more people start believing in the same thing, good things will happen!

Allready more and more people are becomming more conscious of what is really going on.
More and more people are smart enough to know that reallity is more then the things we can touch, smell, see and/or hear...

This is what Lady S tought me...

Damn right, that's the way life -should- be. Although I haven't really learned any stuff like that (yet) from Ldy. Salvia. :)
