Trying ayahuasca alone?

It would be nice to give it a try.... in may in the north of the country,,, roodeschool... percy garcia is coming.... will cost ya 120.... that's a lot of money.... But probably worth the money.... amazing things happen in a ceremony. But i have never drunk it alone htough so i cant compare...

Thats what i hear often . I read about 25 g P.Viridis is the dose , but sorry , it didnt realy beam me . It makes you feel like you are on a trip , but it doesnt open the door / flood gates and you dont get wild hallucinations . Its the difference between old daime , that ripped your head off , and new daime wich is a case of rather 2 than 1 . They changed the recipe because it was to much for the majority and the meetings kept getting disrupted by people on personal safaris . With old daime it was like the world we live in was one dimensional , mono , freeze frame and then you took it and the world woke up and started MOVING , got colour and depth and started interacting with you !!!! Sometimes i felt like it was being in two places that were the same at the same time but different ................

I think that that is a realy promising view point . As a person gets more experienced they start to question dogma and start to realy understand ritual . = become a heretic . Then they dont need the pantomime and the childish blind faith . Shaman get frightened , but because they understand themselves and what they are doing they dont loose control / shit out . Anyone who has no fear is mentaly ill and a danger to themselves and others . I`ve said it loads of times before , when you have children one day you will see that they trust you blindly . You will come into situations where you think "oh fuck" , but because you are adult you dont tell anyone , and the children sit through the near kakastrophy laughing and smiling and dont even notice anything .

Those ceremonys Scamie is talking about are a good place to start . The 120 E. is realy worth it and its NOT expensive . There is also a good chance that you will meet like minded people and maybe you will get to know people that do it regularly . Those ceremonys take place all over the western world . Ask people like bagwanis , or people that travell to India , and Goa .

I am surprised that you have even heard of the place. And yes your right, the daggers are called khanjar's and khat when being smoked is usually called doha, it can be quite nasty because if you are not already a heavy smoker the first time you try it your lungs will close up for a couple of minutes, which is what happened to me, not nice at all!

What makes Ayahuasca different from other psychedelics that a shaman needs to guide the experience?

Nothing. It's just that ayahuasca was originally unique to the Amazon and is thus associated with traditions and songs from the area, whereas mushrooms grow all over the world and psychedelics like LSD are new. You don't need to be in the presence of hippies to experience LSD, and you don't need to be in the presence of Maria Sabina to experience mushrooms. Similarly taking ayahuasca in the presence of a shaman is an option, not a requisite.

I am certain that Soma was an Ayahuasca analog and that the moses sacrament was smoked DMT , plus later after recieving the 10 comandments an Ayahuasca analog . Theoreticaly a cold water extraction / soaking , and drinking the powdered leaves mixed withn a MAOI should give you a trip . Maybe you would have to take more though . Ayahuasca depends on fire and pots to boil water in = it cant be that old , or its older = the leaves were soaked in cold water with an MAOI and then drunk before they had fire ???

I think so too. The discovery of ayahuasca is often described as a miracle that took place in the Amazon, but there is no evidence to suggest that Ayahuasca analogues were not discovered in other places of the world, but lost in due course of time.

I've never heard anyone say this, but my guess is that human beings living in the prehistoric world must have sampled many of the leaves, seeds, flowers, roots and bark in their environment. Undoubtedly they must have stumbled upon a good source of MAO-inhibitors, and noticed its calming effects. In some cultures such plants may have been used, at least by some, on a daily or weekly basis. Just imagine a small tribe living somewhere, eating or drinking this MAO-inhibitor regularly.

Such a group of people will try out other plant parts from the environment, trying them raw, trying them cooked, etc.

In such a situation, some members are bound to get dosed by a DMT-containing plant one day (by chance/ grace/ destiny/ synchronicity/ telios/ the hand of God). It wouldn't take much time for these people to figure out that the "new plant" only works for those who first take the "old plant".

It's just a theory, but think about it: why is the Banisteriopsis caapi vine more sacred than the Psychotria viridis. even though the latter factually opens the doors of perception?

Banisteriopsis caapi has many medicinal qualities aside from the MAO inhibition. It might have been in use for hundreds or thousands of years before the psychoactive qualities of Psychotria viridis were discovered.

To come back to GOD's argument, we indeed have an MAO-inhibitor with a long history of usage throughout Asia and the Middle-East (or wherever else it may have been): Syrian Rue. It just needed to be a popular drug (to combat stress, insomnia or depression) for a short while before someone got really high from eating too many leaves from any of the DMT-containing trees and grasses (or even mushrooms) growing all over the place back then.

I'd love to believe that spirits, gods or even humanoid aliens revealed to select shamans the secret of ayahuasca, but the above scenario seems just as likely. And as I mentioned between brackets, it doesn't deny that such a discovery was guided by divine providence.

A similar argument can be made about the discovery of astrology, especially within a culture of people using psychedelics. For the most complex, advanced and reliable methods of astrology were not discovered in recent years, but many thousands of years ago, by the same Soma-drinking people mentioned by GOD. It may be tempting to believe that Lord Brahma revealed astrology as a complete software package to Parasara Muni, as pious Hindus tend to believe, but a more rational course of events is just as likely, without denying the hand of providence ("Brahma"), and certainly not the aid of psychedelics ("Brahma")!

When you see pictures of "the" pope sometimes he has a crook , a sheep hook with him . Thats the same "shaman" staff , the magic wand . When you burn an Acacia tree it grows again = the burning bush that didnt burn . All the places where moses went to orakels , or other places where orakles were in the bible are exactly the places where Acacia trees grow . Near oasis and on the foot and sides of mountains . Where ground water is . The Israelis had their sacrament in the ark of the covenant and it was running out , after moses found Manna it made the sacrament last for 40 years . The description of Manna is exactly the same as wild P.Harmala . Most of the plants mentioned in the bible are conected to drugs . In the books of moses they mention the "shitim / shitam" tree over and over again . The ark of the covenant was made of it , the sweat hut that moses had built after he came down from the mountain was panneled inside with shitim wood . It was a sweat hut because it was made of 40 layers of tent cloth = absolut wind , rain and air tight . Moses went to a town called shitim to die .

Humanity made its way out of Africa along the nil , the holy river . All along its banks grew reeds with DMT in the roots . We know that in those times there were many droughts = the only plants that were growing were the reeds so the people ate them . There are records of the people there eating the lower parts of reeds in times of hunger . The lower stalk is the most edible part of the plant , the roots roots are the next most edible but they are fiberous so they would have to be cooked . The Egyptians were the center of scientific and medical knowledge in those days . They bought knowedge from people . They could not have existed in that area without having very good knowledge of what plants do what . For example Rizinus . No other drug that was known then has strong enough effects to come into question as being Soma.

We are God , we are the aliens . We come from outer space . The organic material that was needed to make us comes from the stars . A star explodes , pulverises all the planets around it , and spreads organic material , .......... "spores" through the universe like treading on a puff ball . The theory that life comes from space was first predicted by a guy called "chandrasingh" i think , in the 6os . A few weeks ago nasa anounced that they had found regions in space rich with organic material , richer than the one we live in !!!! = life is at home in space . Planets as quiet backwaters , "eggs" to develop life in peace before the central star explodes , causes the "egg" to hatch and spreads life around the universe .

Astrology started in prehistoric times , it was neolithic TV , the star signs were first written down by the babilonians .

I'd like to read up on the whole "drugs in the bible" subject.
I do know HC also knows a great deal about it.

Its all my own work . I read things , do researched and put 1 and 1 together . I also have a gift of turning the TV on and programs come about the things i want to know . For instance that about Ritzinus . Or another time they were talking about hungry people eating reeds and i know that those reeds contain DMT . It was often lateral thinking because i was so stoned . I didnt write everything i could have on the theme . There are other explanations that are longer and other facts .
