I think tolerance is a crime . I dont tolerate it if some smelly asocial junky poisons me with his adiction . I dont tolerate him smoking at all = it has nothing to do with me if he wants to stink and kill himself , he can do what he wants if he doesnt hurt other people . Thats not tolerance its live and let live .

there is no evidence, that second hand smoke harms you. its bullshit makebelieve.
tolerance goes both ways. if you are a sucker, who can't ask someone not to smoke, change rooms, or ask them to do so, it is absolutely your problem.
with your logic, 99% of the people who drive cars, should not be allowed to do so. and while smoke might be physically harmful, lets think about the bullshit, that floats around, which is mentally harmful. like your above statement. should it still be tolerated? sure. freedom is ultimate and anything, that comes in its way is simply wrong.
As a smoker, I take responsibility for my actions. So I don't smoke in closed areas, where other none-smokers are present, or at least ask for permission.

Believe it or not, but there are people who smoke and aren't addicted, just as there are cocaine and heroine users who aren't addicted.

Depends on the ratio of addicted/not addicted people. I know quite a lot of people that use alcohol on a regular basis but aren't addicted.

while tobacco does, heroin as a substance is rather safe. the death are more circumstantial. it still kills, but so does jogging.

Heroin is not physicaly harmfull . The deaths come from overdoses and from dirty street heroin . Its the illegality that causes the deaths . People here can get pure heroin from the state and go to work and they lead normal lives , exept that they have to fix a few times a day .

free radicals from tobacco smoke can indeed harm other people who inhale the smoke passively....


yet it isn't sooo ultra dangerous.... it's just cigarette smoke.... it's obviously more dangerous if you smoke it yourself and even then it's not ultra dangerous.
the only problem is that the free radicals are sort of radioactive and therefore CAN cause lung cancer. obviously the risk is highly increased if you smoke it yourself... if you just inhale "some" smoke passively then, apparently it most probably isn't a very high risk of getting lung cancer......

I have a chronic obstructive lung disorder because of smoking passivly . My doctors arent wrong . My insurance wouldnt pay if there was the slightest chance that passive smoking wasnt harmfull .

Chronic says it all . I am woken up every morning by the taste of my neighbours smoking . I cough a lot and cough up spit that tastes like tobaco . The neighbour are all asocial cigeret wankers and wank themselves one cigaret after another . Its as though someone is standing next to me blowing smoke in my face very often . If they would open a window on the other side of their apartments i would never be confronted with it .

I knew a guy with three kids, a very high level job and on heroin. led a very good life. without ever having any complications.

overdose usually comes accidentally. simple (exaggerated/simplified) example:

You are a street junky. you get you buzz from your street dealer. usually he sells you standard crap, which is less then 30%. since you are doing age for some years now, the dose you are doing is rather high...

now by some strange incident, you come across real pure stuff (95%). normally you might realize it in color, odor and so on, but you are a little bit high already and don't pay much attention. also, today you feel good and want to take a decent hit...

that's when overdoses happen... other heroin death are more based on internal organ failures due to the crap they straighten the shit on the street with. from flour, plaster, strychnine, fertilizer to rat poison...
street heroin is bad shit.
