SYMMETRY the super salvinorin!

The unpleasantness of the experience appeared unrelated to dose, and consistently exceeded positive effects at all doses. There appeared to be little experience of personal insight despite otherwise dramatic effects.

I'll pass as well.

This one I'll pass, just the thought of a multiple hours Salvia trip is giving me creeps.

on the other hand:

All participants at one-month follow-up reported "enjoying the experience" and being "willing to take it again." Symmetry may be of particular interest to mathematicians or theoretical physicists; nonetheless, if this first look is any guide, it is unlikely to gain enduring popularity as either a recreational drug or spiritual sacrament

well many people i know didn't enjoy common salvia at all their first time but inevitably used it over and over, with not much development of a positive taste for the ridiculous herb...something strange about the drug, that draws people to it even if they aren't too fond of it. i imagine symmetry would be similar in results so i'm torn 50/50 on this one.

did they give a reason why it would be of interest especially to mathematicians and physicists?

No. The quote is straight from Erowid.

Sorry this is completely unrelated. BananaPancake you just tripped me out by simply changing the avatar.

Imagine a sheet of sand going over a cliff, or rather a rapidly receding ledge under sand such that the sand drops in a sheet as the ground vanishes under it. It is impossible to determine whether the sand is moving forward over the edge, or if the edge is moving backward under the sand, but either way the edge itself is a one-dimensional line defined by a two-dimensional surface moving over the contour of an unseen three-dimensional object. That line can wiggle or ululate or assume configurations other than a knife-edge, so technically it is not one-dimensional, but the line doesn't know that. Now add two to every dimension--I was perceiving all three-dimensional objects in my world as four-dimensional surfaces contouring a five-dimensional object (or objects) that I could not directly perceive.

Such an unlocked perception sounds like a genuine measurement system for a harmony of accurate precision about how our visual oriented reality works. But it seems one gains an extra 100 lbs on himself when taking this psychoactive in greater quantities. It sounds like something to keep an eye on though. I'll wait till more have made the jump into this new circle. For now it's way too much a brand new RC to me.

lol after having read this thread for the third time or so at last it made my day!! lol!!!!!!!!!
hmmmmmm lol!!!!!! i want to say more but i think i have too much to say so sorry there for the laziness for my part...... :? :P

peace :weedman:

this seems important
my good pal SWIM is interested in acquiring a sample

I'd be up for it. My main concern would be if it'd be an overload for the brain and body. Is it safe? Probably not. The body may just overheat and you'd pass out.

this, holy shit, yo. lol

I'd try it.

The most mind blowing trip I've ever had was with Salvia and I was disappointed it wore off so quickly. Beats a half ounce of mushrooms in terms of intensity. Only time I've entirely detached from a physical world and myself was with Salvia, but that's not everything I know.

Got to take that duration with a pinch of salt there I think, because it also says that Saliva normally has a duration of 30 minutes. That was 3 minutes for me. Muscaria is the same in that it hasn't done anything to me and Ketamine (if it's been genuine) wears off in no time.

The only thing I'd be concerned about with this RC (as with the others) is it's physical toxicity. Psychiatric toxicity has never been much of a worry for me. Too many of these synthetics are far too random with regards to that (the majority of them belong to that unknown category), because someone is endlessly churning them out at the moment it seems. I can not keep with them despite being on forums like this for hours every day (anywhere from 1 to 9h or more) and interested in the chemistry or neurobiology at work. Massive changes in effect between similar structures are well demonstrated by psilocin, which is two methyls and a positional change off serotonin; both fairly inert changes in terms of general chemistry. One I need for higher brain function and the other entirely warps my daily reality to an extent that I can't explain with words, art or equations. Phenylalanine (an essential amino acid) is structurally similar to ampethamine. My body needs O2, add an extra oxygen to make O3 and it's a radical generating, cell damaging, harmful gas. Add another oxygen to water to make H2O2 (peroxide) and it'll burn your skin.

I'm also not impressed by the legal high companies continuing to hand out things like mephedrone under the guise of them being safer because they're legal, with mephedrone rapidly earning a number of negative reports to do with intense headaches and even subcutaneous bleeding. Or selling herbal smoking mixes laced with synthetics that they don't list in the ingredients. They're not pharma companies, they don't spend anything on clinical testing. I was about to say they don't say they're safer and simply rely on the public thinking they are, but then I remembered reading the website of one big name involved in producing compounds like these that claimed it was a harm reduction strategy. Based on new compounds that clearly interact with important organs (like the brain), no significant history and no clinical testing. At least things like 2C have a reasonable amount of history behind them. I realize that only comes from people trying things, but I think I've done my fair share of playing the human lab rat for others by now. It's a game of pass the electrified parcel, and I don't want the shitty, virtually identical, plastic toys inside so many of them anymore. I'm happy enough waiting for the heavy ones shaped like strippers. :P
