I've tried salvia on 5 occasions now.
4 with a gravity bong, once with a regular bowl.
The effect has been the same each time, and it is far from the incredible trips mentioned on this board and elsewhere.
Each time, within 30 seconds of inhaling (about the time I exhale), I find myself lying down nearly paralyzed. The paralysis is characterized by a feeling like all of my body is "asleep", in the sense of pins and needles. It's very uncomfortable, and unless I'm in a very cool place, I start to sweat and get very hot.
But nothing else happens. I don't have any "out there" thoughts, I don't see anything at all, I don't relax, I don't feel any sensation whatsoever except this painful tingling.
I don't know exactly where this scores on the salvia experience scale, but it is very dissappointing.
