Slow server ?

Hi, do other people also experience an extreme slowness in loading forum pages etc lately ? (last month ?) Other websites do not seem to be affected, so it's possible the server is very crowded or something.

This makes it impossible to just do a quick forum scan before going to work for example ...

Forum pages load well here but it's the frontpage which is the killer

I hear that, about the front page; takes its sweet ass time to pop up!!
some extra speed never hurts.
Wouldnt hurt to increase the upload size again if possible either.
I want to put up a movie or two

Yes the speed of the frontpage is a persistant problem. We already tried a new server, but this didn't help.

The problem is with the software (Joomla) and it's too many plugins and modules which makes it too slow...

This is complicated too fix because a lot of things have to be rebuild, but it will be fixed!!
