???????? a dit:
But how is the "starting point" of birth determined?
There is some debate about what constitues the start of an individual life, astrologically. Personally I think it's when the baby takes in its first "ïndependent" breath, its first inhalation, sucking in the external world. Organically the source of oxygen is what changes most radically at the time of birth.
when the baby goes out of the mom? but this can be delayed by such mundane things, like the doctor was a little late so the mom had to wait some time.
Heh, the doctor can never be "late" from a cosmic perspective, only "right on time". But when the child must come, it will. When my second son was born, the midwife was too late, so he landed straight into my hands. Quite an amazing experience!
Anyway there's not a definite start point to life, when the baby gets out he was already alive.
What a wonderful synchronicity that you mention birth now, right after I heard the latest podcast by Max Freakout (see front page), which actually mentions what birth must be to a baby who has been in the womb for nine months: death. It's in fact death for the umbilical cord, and even a dangerous, possibly painful transition.
How did you get involved with all this? Did you have an analysis by an expert on the subject that captivated you? If so, I would like to hear about it.
Yes, I had my chart read by an American Vedic astrologer, and he said some pretty specific stuff. I visited other reputed astrologers in India, some of whom were quite impressive again. And so I started studying it myself, doing readings etc. Then came my interest in sacred geometry, and then a new wave of psychedelic interest.
Remember: if nature is language, if this cosmos consists of code, it can be read, and that's all astrology is: a language, the voice of the stars (astro-logos). Astrology is just another confirmation that organic and inorganic life is full of code: from DNA to the Milky Way and beyond.
Your example of the baby implies that life would start at day 49 of pregnancy, but is it possible that the living entity already existed before entrance? We all know from psychedelic experience that you don't need light or even eyes to see. Our bodies are manifestations of nature, and consciousness will only reside in it as long as it functions as a process (air, water and solids flowing through it). The body consists of code, on different levels, and it is embedded in a matrix of other types of code. There are no bugs in the cosmic programming, everything must work in perfect harmony. And so eclipses, conjunctions and such do not simply occur in the night sky, but in our psycho-physical systems as well. Though awareness is focused on our "personal lives", in a sense we are truly one with ALL orbiting star systems in space, i.e. all of existence. Our bodies are a process within a process within a process. And awareness just witnesses all these processes, identifying with the local and seemingly controllable.
