Hello Dan! Have you already tried the joint? The salvia 5x extract joint is more powerfull than normal salvia leaves,so it should be enough for a light trip,you need to burn a lot of salvia and smoke a lot,to have strong trips.Since the top of the trip scale for salvia trips is full amnesia,i'm not quite in to burning my lungs,and don't even remember anything,afterwards.Maybe if you find the right dosage for you,you can have good trips with it.

So how much of the joint would i have to smoke to actually trip?? I took all the salvia out of the joint, and am plannin' on smokin' it in a bong. I was hopin' for 2 trips, so i can try it out once..and in a couple of weeks smoke it in the middle of a mushroom trip.

The cruhsed Salvia is meaningless, by chemical process some leaves are "turbo-charged" and have a bigger amount of salvinorim. It`s harmless and helps save your lungs since you need to smoke less.
My dosage, since salvia burns so rapidly, would be 2 to 3 grams bong smoked, of the 5x blend.
People with lower tolerance should use less. But i strongly recommend only using the 5x and 10x leaves, expensive but worth it!

Well last night i broke my joint into two equal parts. I put half of it into a bong (about 350 mg), which filled the bong to the very top. I put the lighter on the bong, sucked, kept in me for about 15 seconds. Took another hit, with the lighter on the bowl. Held for about 30 seconds. Took another hit, i noticed that salvia gets cherried very easily, is this bad?? I assume it is. I lit the bong again, but i noticed that it was cherried throughout the whole bowl, so it didn't get direct flame from the lighter. As i was lightin' and smokin' this hit i hear voices, i think voices of people i know (my brother, my friend, and maybe someone else), they're tellin' me, "dan, this is enough, you will be good." So i set the bong down, layed down and closed my eyes..nothin'. I hurried and picked the bong up, and smoked the last little hit, held it for about 30 seconds.
Nothin' was happenin', so i decided to get up and experiment, when i got up it was hard for me to talk, i also felt real weird and didn't know what was goin' on for about a minute. No visual distortions however, and i tried a lot of different kinds of lights.
I do however see very high potential with this herb. I just wish the lady didn't trick me, and have those voices to tell me to stop. I'm pretty sure I didn't light the bong correctly, but i tried as hard as possible. I think I'm gonna smoke the last dose today, this time I will kill the cherry after every hit.

Welcome, you just had the 1st level of salvia effects, if you ever get near level 4 or 5 (6=amnesia=useless) the plant really pays off!
Did you have trouble moving? I felt like i was dragging my legs thru a pool of mud! Very weird!

both of them. 3g of salvia leaves and the 1g 5X one. Planning to use first the leaves and explore the plant and then 5X stuff for more intense trip. Wondering second, third, fourth and fifth stages. especially the 5. stage. I have learned more of me and nature up to this age of me. Trying to learn more about the life and the universe with all sides.

My experience with salvia is very little, I only smoked it 3 times using a 10x extract. I ordered 5x and they send 10x, I was happy lol
The first time I experienced it it was very very strange... I was inside a car with 2 friends of mine. One of then already knew salvia from amsterdam and told me she was a strange bitch! but I was really really curious... I put the salvia im the bong and took a deep hit... (I can inhale deeply)... I compreessed the smoke in my lungs until I coundnt and then exhaled... I was very alert to possible reactions.. but I didnt see or feel nothing unusual... except for a strange mistic feeling of "there is something happening"... them... POW... I strated laughing alot... and my body entered mechanical loop. As I was laughting I kept bouncing my head to my knees and back again (I was sitted).. It was very very strange... My friends were observing my and I felt they were kinda worried... While I was in the fisical loop, I started to feel there was strange thing going on... I started to realize that I stopped laughing but couldnt stop moving my body... IT WAS FUCKIng STRANGE! my head kept bouncing and I couldt control it.... then wow. I stopped.... I strarted to get some strange insights.. like "I see what this is..."... Felt alot of deja vús.... I was now sitted but I felt like there was a heavy iron locking my harms and legs... I couldt move them.. but I wasnt sad about it... I was stranting to mentalize myself that I was going to stay like that forever... Well.. then I gradually started to come back... It was very strange... very very... but compared to my other experiences with it it was kinda soft lolol.
2º experience - 1 or 2 days after the 1st. - I went to a friends house and we had a friends gathering there. We all sitted around and I prepared the bong. A friend of mine was the first one to smoke. This friend had too been in amsterdam and smoked salvia... In amsterdam he got a very weird experience.. drooling himself out and shit. lol... but let continue.. ... He smoked and remained very calm. Started saying "yup... it is salvia...." but nothing unusual happened.... his big blue eyes were very open... he looked kinda strange... but ok... Well... it was my time now to smoke the bong... I filled the bong with a big dose and inhaled it... I closed my eyes and I sitted like the chineses do. I started watching closed eye visual... and started saying "yes... it is very visual..."... then I open my eyes and freaked out... lolol .... I felt a strange conspirancy there. I felt like all my friends didnt want me to smoke the salvia, because it would make me realize who they really were, and my real origins... It was a REAL and CrEEPY conspirancy teory. I started to feel or see peaple as some kind of bubbles.... and the biggest bubble was my friend with the blue eyes (the one that had smoked salvia previouly). I fixed my eyes at him and saw him as the biigest bubble in the group... and I could only see his eyes smiling at me with a weird look.... I started mumbling a few things like: " What the fuck.... Sergio (his name)... you're the one controling this shit..." I heard the crowds voices saying "He's having alucinations... He is making things in his head..." I was realy mad at Sérgio.... he kept on the smily look that salvia gave him... it. More things happened but i really cant remember. I just know it affected me really hard.... It took weeks for me to stop thinking in Sergio without negative thoughts... - I realize my experience affected the group. People that were in to trying salvia quitted the idea.. some bad vibes flowed thru the place.. lol.... the weirder was still to come! lolol
Remember the friend that was with me in the car in the first experience? lol .. He smoked too. He was the last one to do it. I putted salvia in the bong and he inhaled it. I just said: "Close your eyes David, it is very visual". When I said that e started to become very weird... He got up and started to act stragely. He kicked the bong and started to be agressive. He started punching and kicking the air... with a very agressive face.. and started saying some weird shits.... At this point I laughted like shit.. LOL... I couldnt stop laughting. But david didnt saw my laughting as a bad thing...he didnt even looked at me for a long time... He´s rage, meanwhile, was pointed to a variety of peaple there. Sergio said: I´m going to make a joint. DAvid replied: No, you arent! David seemed to want to control everybody... it was really really strange.... lots of things happened... but ill skip it.
When david calmed down he started saying sorry to everybody. He was very very very very scared with all that had happened. He said to me: Daniel, that thing is dangerous, throw it away! It sure was strange....
The last time I smoked it was on a very weird day lol.. It was on the annual Mushroom Ritual we used to make every year lol. 22 grams boiled for 6 peaple. I'm not gonna tell te story cause it's very very weird... LOL but im the end of it.. I had to run away to a dune with sergio to calm down and talk about the experience. There I smoked the last salvia. It was the last and most interesting experinece. I was in a dune hearing the see. I smoked and stayed with eyes close (It was at night). I started to see a very large display of random images that were interconected im some strange way. I cant explain what I saw.. It was strange but yet familiar..... I dont know why, but I knew that the display of images would stop when I moved my finger and a strange sound would be heard. lol When I came back I was amazed with it...
Sometimes I have weird dreams that are salvia alike. The other day I tome a very small dose of mushrooms and filled the tub with hot water and putted myself inside. I kept there very calm, doing respiratory tecniques... I had feelings resembled to salvia in some way...

AdivX, I think you must be mistaken with the dosage or you must be really unaffected by Salvia.
I only use the X10 extract. The leaflet I got with it says 1/2 a gram is enough for 12 strong trips. I usually get 8 strong trips out of 1/2 a gram.
I can really reccomend the sagewisdom.org site. Also read my post in the other Salvia topic.

I have a very high tolerance so i must make my own dosages.
You say a gram and a half is enough for 12 trips (10x) this might be correct but remember this is the 10x not the regular (which you should try first) or the 5x.
So for me it goes like this:
Regular Salvia - 2 to 3 grams
5x - 2 grams
10x - 1gram will problably suffice ( never tried the 10x )

Wow you must have a really high tolerance if you would need 1 gram of 10X for one trip. 1 gram of 10X would be enough for 14 strong trips for me and 24 for the avarage person, according to the leaflet.
Maybe you need to adjust you smoking technique?
Since this is the topic about a Salvia joint I have a nice experience to share. I made a real Salvia joint last week. I filled it with cannabis (no tabacco) and then loaded about 0,25g of 10X extract in it. So that should normally be enough for 4-6 trips. Me and three friends smoked it and it was great. It was way better than a cannabis high but not as intense as a full blown Salvia trip. But it did last 30-60 minutes! There weren't much visual hallucinations (slightly distorted colours and shapes) but the bodily and mental sensation was great. I had one of the biggest lauging fits ever
