The Psychotria Viridis likes lots of water , it can stand in water , and the bit that gets left in a coffee filter after you make coffee from coffee beans ocasionaly . It hardly ever needs fertiliser but you can give it some ocasionaly . It grows like a weed . It likes reflected light but it HATES direct sunlight and likes a wet atmosphere . It can take temperatures outside down to 4C. but not for long and not under that . Spray it ocasionaly with rain water , especialy if the leaves begin to shrivel because of to dry air . If you get pests spray it with water containing a few drops per gallon of biological soap , starting at the bottom from underneath working up to the top . Then a few days later do the same again with pure rain water . Tap water will not hurt it . The bigger the pot the bigger it grows . Use normal flower earth with a bit of the coffee rest that i said about at the start . I have had some standing in the same soil for ten years . You dont have to pull leaves off , enough fall off on their own if you wait a bit .
