The old threats about it are over 150 days so here is a new one from me.

I have here some contradicting info and I'd like some clarity.

Azarius a dit:
Because of the extremely fine line between effective and lethal doses, the ground seeds are only to be ingested by experienced persons. By weight, ololiuqui seeds are in general twice as powerful as morning glory.

Versus

a1b2c3.com a dit:
10 seeds is a good starting point for your first attempt. If you do not feel much, wait 5 days between attempts and increase the dose by 5 seeds or less each time you try, until you find a dose size you like. The recommended dose of ololiuqui seeds for psychoactive effect is from about 15-30 seeds.

Ingesting larger quantities of seeds in search of a stronger experience is not a good idea. As doses start to exceed 30 seeds, the user will tend to vomit rather than get more intoxicated. There is no chance of a fatal overdose, but vomiting is unpleasant enough in itself.

There is not much info on it in the net...

I don't believe why there would be such a thin line between active and dangerous doses. It should be not much different than with morning glory, HBWR or LSA in general.

Regarding dose of ololiuqui, the information on the internet is very unclear indeed. Strengths are mentioned that range between similar to morning glory to similar to HBWR. I still have some seeds but never tried them actually :D

Where did you get that from please ?

"Toxicity: Ipomoea species are not particularly poisonous but their seeds contain toxic alkaloids and cases of fatal poisoning have been recorded. 15-20 seeds are an intoxicating dose. More than 100 seeds caused unpleasant apathy and severe gastrointestinal disturbances."
That's strange, as Morning Glory is Ipomoea Tricolor and there you need more than this dose :? Probably gonna buy a good book, what do you advice, GOD?

I dont know a good book about that so i`d say read a few general psychoactive plant books . I will have a look what i can find but i havent read anything for ages .

Information on Ololiuqui seems rather limited on the internet. I'd be interested in a good book as well. The ones I have only briefly mention it, and give no real information beyond what I already know.

That probably reflects the fact that most people who try it dont do it again , or only a few times .

Maybe. What is nonetheless interesting is, that it is one of the grand Aztec (or something) drugs which kinda surprises me, that it stands on one level with peyote, psilo.

" that it is one of the grand Aztec (or something) drugs which kinda surprises me, that it stands on one level with peyote, psilo.."

Some sources may claim that today but we wouldnt know that unless we went back in time and asked the Azteks themselves . I thinkl its safe to say from modern experience that the three things dont stand on the same level and never did . That would be a bit like people in a thousand years learning that today there are things we call drugs and that they all must have been equaly as popular , enjoyable and usefull .

"fatal poisoning have been recorded"

I know its a long shot, but does the book reference that information? I'd be interested to hear about fatal cases, and how much was taken / serum levels etc.

ohwell, its a shame.

Some books have a reference list at the back, so I wondered if that book was one.

I would like to know more about this . Does anyone have any information about the people who wrote the book ? and the publishers ?
