Mushrooms - will they be banned completely in NL?

The more important question is, will smartshops still be allowed to sell grow boxes? Or grow kits (spores)?

After reading the latest news about the ban in the Netherlands I'm going to order a grow kit right now - I have to learn how to grow from spores before everything gets banned! Maybe order a few sporeprints as well (I guess sporeprints can be stored for ages, right?)

Well, I wanted to grow shrooms from spores for a long time, but lazy as I am I always ordered grow boxes. Now it's time to move on...

About growing, everybody should grow there own, see if shrooms by other growers are different or have their own signature

I personaly dont care if someone says something in any language , but it would be better if they said it in both english and their own language , then we can learn a bit of every language . I understood everything that was said exept the " iets buiten wet" . What do "stelletje" , "buiten" and "wet / wetten" mean ????

Spore suppliers need fresh mushrooms to produce spores. Fresh mushrooms will become illegal so....

How many time can we conserve a sporeprint in good conditions ?

sprints are good for a very long time i think?

and i think they wont forbid the sporeprints probably..
I guess the sporeprints will be similar to the weed law, you cant grow em, but you can sell em (not totally true, but you get the point )

Just psilocybin and psilocyn, so the spores won't be illegal.
We just need people to keep a stack of sporeprints for anyone who wants to grow them...

If you want to store your prints really long, let them dry for a few extra days after making the print, then put them in the freezer (in a air tight bag of course).

According to research done in Holland a few years ago, the best way to store spores is to store them airtight and very cold. In deep space, spores can last virtually forever, the freezer and and airtight bag, are the closes you can get to those conditions

Yea I doubt they'll be illegal there. They are legal in the USA so in holland....lol. Theres no active drug in the spores until they start growing.

That's so very true HC, but if I look at the situation, for one to grow, they would need spores and you could keep spores legally.
I'm kinda already thinking around the bends

iets buiten wet = something outside law
stelletje = idioten
wet buiten wet - law outside law

Thanks for the Dutch lesson Tarzan . I can understand lots of Dutch words , but the bit i cant makes what i can understand worthless .

I`ve bought loads of spores from the U.S. over the years but most of them didnt grow at all . So the best thing to do is to grow outside and practice hunting wild mushrooms and making spore prints from them , the only places i have heard of that they dont grow is on the poles and in the middle of desserts in the sand / rocks ???

hmm, let's hope the last word on this topic isn't said yet in the Netherlands.

There is this (dutch) website online, www.reddepaddo.nl, where you can sign a email, that will be send to the dutch government. In the mail are some pretty good arguments against the ban on magic mushrooms. This mondayafternoon, 10.000 people used this website to let the government know how they feel about it. By Tuesday, already more than 20.000 people protested against this law. So tell all of your (dutch) friends to sign this protest email! If enough people let the government know how useless this law is, that it will only have negative effects, they can't ignore us.

Also, it seems a lot of people are beginning to make sure they can eat mushrooms in the future by preparing their own growkits, or seeding them in nature.

They wont take any notice of a petition unless the people who sign it give their real names and adresses so that they can be checked to see if those people realy exist and are Dutch citizens .
