My little brother grows so we just call it by strain.

he's got some shit now called "Champagne". It's pretty tasty.

Other than that, it's "beasters" for the mass produced canadian buds, or "headies" if it's something really special, like our homegrown.

I'm picky. I like to try different strains, compare, and remember which ones tasted the best and gave the best high. Around here, it's all GOOD bud, some's just better than others.

I do like to know the strains, but most of it is imported around here so no one knows anything other than its cannabis.

I know a few growers who normally have a wide array of different strains that they are planning on growing, but its just the case of waiting for it at times and it can be a long wait with a few of them.

For regular "dank" or what I'd call "beasters" that you'd normally pay $50 an eighth for....1ounce= $250, QP=800, 1lb=$2,800

for "headies" (something fresh and delicious, and you can tell me the strain) $60 an eighth/ $350-$400 an ounce QP= $1,200-$1,600

Believe it or not, occasionally some KILLER two toke schwag comes thru for ~60 bucks an ounce, but not reliably.

7 years ago I was growing skunk #1 and some indica called Black Domina, but I been outta commision for a while.

Specifically, I'm interested in straight potency.

I'm going to get a couple of strains soon, but I'm out of the loop as far as a lot of the newer stuff.

BTW, I would prefer a hybrid, for the vigor. Those damn pure sativas are finicky as hell, and I really don't care for the narcotic stone of a pure indica,
otherwise I'd just get the Black Domina again...

White widow is OK, and available at most coffee shops.It is a hybrid with mostly indica (?). I tried asking about strains and such in those shop on different occasions. But until now I did not meet anyone that really seems to know what he/she is talking about.

I haven't looked that intensive for it, but I really would like to find a good source of pure sativa in my area. I only came across it twice, and I liked the psychedelic high a lot. Maybe I should grow a few plants myself.

Phalaris, that's just how we do it over here. 28g in an ounce. Most people dealing sell by eighths (3.5g) and quarters (7g). Everything in reference to an ounce until you get into bigger quantities, then it's pounds. Crazy Americans. But believe me, as someone who uses tools at work every day, I LOVE the metric system!

Mr. Potter: My favorites recently have been king kupa, champagne and the 4way that my buddy just brought down from Vermont. I'd share with ya but I'm not sending anything through the mail. Kid brother is growing some mango kush right now that is some of the most beautiful buds I've ever seen in person. I'll let you know how that smokes when it's dried.

I'm totally with you on the whole "narcotic stone" thing, I like bud that's condusive to making art. The stuff that makes you want to get up and dance rather than melt into the sofa.

And honest to god "White widow" is some mighty tasty shit but it's probably the most common thrown around name. People have been telling me that such and such pot was white widow since I was 15. It's just a name everyone knows.

....anyway, I hear ya about the mail, I'm hesitant about ordering, BUT fuck it, you don't hear much of seed interception these days, guess they have bigger fish to fry.

Ever hear of AK47? Theres a canadian co. w/ some F2 AK's that I am thinking about. Never smoked the AK47, but I have never heard anything but raves about it..
