Mancala beads aiding in filtration

I have just been told that putting mancala beads in the bottom of a bong will somehow increase the filtration and produces a "harder" hit. I'm somewhat skeptical of this and I was wondering what the esteemed cannabis smokers of this board think.

So much crap in one thread . Alcohol would take THC out of the smoke and you would get alcohol vapour in your lungs . Ice would cool the smoke but remove large parts of the THC . There was a "Fuck bongs" thread a few months ago that provided proof about the iefectivity of bongs .

GOD what is your suggestion for the best consumption of Marijuana? Other than orally, because I know that is very strong!

i think bongs are quite effective. yet maybe not the perfect filters, as already pointed out, as the water only filters a limited amount and i heard it also filters the THC which would be bad ....


the perfect method for consumption in regards to health issues is probably to use a vaporizer or eat it.

A vaporiser or a good pure pipe smoked optimaly . Personaly i prefered the pure pipe , probably because i`d got used to the hit of the THC and the gasses burning produces . I used to get 20 - 30 sucks from a gramm and 3 sucks zapped me .

THC is very alcohol soluble so some of it will be absorbed while being cooled

and also, why hot water? are the carcinogens more water soluble at higher temps?

The idea is so it doesnt cool the smoke down . If the smokes cools part of it condenses in the coöd water .

Personaly i think bongs are a criminal act , for people who dont like getting high , have money to throw away and phalic symbols for kiddys . There is a thread called "Fuck bongs" wich is good to read if a person wants facts .
