There were 7 of us total. 2 of which were already tripping earlier in the day and the rest of us had no idea they were. later on the two day trippers asked the rest of us if we would like to join them on their journey. A brave one said yes so we all decided too. After picking up one hit for each person I hesitantly placed it on my tongue and thought to myself, what the hell are you doing and quickly removed it. I had no prior preparation or background on the drug so all the questions of What if? came to my head. After one of my friends assured me that everything was going to be fine I put the paper back onto my tongue and was ready for whatever. We then decided to go and check out a party that was going on up the street. From the time I got in the car and walked into the party, i started to panic. I didnt want to be in this situation so i quickly called one of the day trippers who agreed with me that it was a stupid idea for us to have gone to this party so he picked me up. About 45 min after we all had ingested the papers, the rest of my friends were calling saying that they needed to be picked up because the party was turning out to be lame. After we got back my one friend decided to put on Fear n Loathing in las vegas. I had never heard of this movie before nor did I know what I was in store for. About a little bit over an hour into the trip I started to look for hallucinations, switching back and forth between the movie and my hands to see if anything was happening. Now I was watching the part of the movie where gonzo and the doctor were tripping on acid in the hotel, so i was not sure if this was the movie or the drug. A few friends suggested that we stop watching the movie and go for a walk. This is where I think i first started seeing some changes in my perception. All of us were walking through campus, some of us laughing historically. wearing sunglasses at night and talking nonsense. We then decided to return home to go into a more relaxing setting. We all crammed into my friends room where he had tapestry hanging from his walls with amazing colors and designs. This is when I stared to notice colors swirl and patterns were somewhat morphing into each other. A little later in walks in my friends roommate all drunk and belligerent talking about how someone pushed him down some steps and he kept showing us his hands which he said he been cut. The only thing I was interested in what looked liked to be his fingers breathing, slowing expanding and shrinking. I was amazed. The other thing I noticed was the music playing, even if the song was 2 minutes long time didnt matter, it seemed like there was no such thing as time. One song in particular that made the experience better was the song Lucy in the Sky with diamonds. Talk about a song to listen to while your on lsd, and i couldnt get over the fact that the song had the letters LSD in them (Lucy Sky Diamond). We stayed in my friends room for the rest of the trip talking/bounding/and playing music on guitars and drums. Slowly we all stared to come down so by 4am most of us were passing out or at least trying to. For some reason my friend and I decided to take another hit so about 6 hours into our first trip we dosed ourselves again with 1 hit of blotter paper. Not really thinking about tripping for another 8 hours or so these hit much faster and hallucinations were quite intense, the tapestry on his wall were completely morphing and swirling into new patterns. After almost everyone fell asleep, only one of our friends was still up so at 7am he asked the two of us who were tripping pretty hard if we would like to get some breakfast from McDonald with him, we eagerly agreed. As we were trying to order everything seemed so funny to the two of us, we couldn't even put our order in because of how hard we were laughing. We then asked our friend to drop us back at our dorm, but before we went in he parked outside where we ate the rest of our breakfast and for some reason i got sick of the food and didn't want to eat it anymore, then another thought came to my head, i didnt want to be tripping anymore, and then another thought, suicide. After shaking this from my thoughts I noticed myself looking at the snow that had just started to fall from the sky and cover the ground. It looked so white and beautiful, but my attention quickly shifted to a car rim which began to melt down to the ground. To this day I have never seen anything like that. We then went inside to our dorm to what felt like jail walls closing in around us. This was not a good setting to be in, i just wanted to get the hell out of the hall and into my room. For the rest of my trip i just sat in my bed reflected on what i had experienced and listened to music. After the drug wore off it was time to go to soccer practice which was held indoors because of the weather. Little did the coaches know nor did the rest of our teammates know what we had just been doing......

Hey there,

I hope you took this as a positive experience...
In my opinion, you could have had a much better time if you had prepared your journey. I know that it was probably a "spur of the moment" thing, but you should at least have a nice and comfy spot where you can trip, where no one would bother you and your friends, and probably not having any responsibilities the next day (like soccer practice :D)
And taking another blotter, wow! It could have been a disaster.. some people can't take the prolonged and intensified effects after re-dosing, and very bad things can happen.

Also, as far as I'm concerned, I've always had a small "badtrip" somewhere along the lines when I trip on acid, and I've just gotten to get used to the fact that there will be one, and that it's all part of the equilibrium. There's no sweet without the sour! (Except maybe on MDMA xD). Just make sure you have relaxing music available, and put that on. Preferably something very calm and ambient. My favorite artist for that is "Bluetech" and maybe "Solar fields". You will be in heaven when listening to that, and no matter how bad my trip can get, it always gets back to the sunny side when I put those on.

Anyways, cheers and I hope this was an enriching experience for you and your friends :)

laughing historically
, nice one.

Sounds like a good introduction to lsd, have you since used it to explore the inner world?

It was a positive experience and yes Ive explored the inner world of my mind to this day, each new experience opens my eyes more and more. I recently started reading about meditation and how it can open your mind to a new level during a trip. As far as bad trips go, they just have to be embraced and taken as life lessons. Ive learned that its just your mind trying pull you back to this reality

thanks for the musical suggestions! Im listening to some bluetech right now very relaxing

You're more than welcome. I love to spread this music around. Let me know if you like the genre, and would like to be introduced to other artists :)

It is many things. If you like to see me as a Hawaiian Wrestler, so be it.

Yup, you will find alot of music in that topic. It is a topic I created awhile ago, and the community kept it much alive. I guess music is very tightly related to psychedelics. It is after all a way to express your feelings and thoughts.

And the genre is : Ambient / Psychill.
If you look at my first post in that thread, I have listed a few tracks from my favorite artists in that genre.

Cheers.
