Keepin dried shrooms

i friend of mine gave me for free 1 gram of dried thai mushrooms, but i want to used them next week 'cause this weekend i havne't got time... So what's the best way to conserve them until then?

You can just put them in a zip-lock bag and store 'em in a dark, dry and cool place.

For a very long time, after a few years the potency will drop, how fast is all depending on how you kept them.

yeah for a week a ziplock bag should be fine, but i suggest putting them in a glass jar if you want to store them for several months

Even in ziplock bags I've seen them lose potency if kept at room temperature for more that 5 or 6 months.Best thing is to keep them in air tight container in the freezer.But if it's just for a week you should be OK just in a ziplock in the dark.Light really kills psilocybin.

I kept my last flush in a plastic bag (even without ziplock) in a dark drawer for about 2 months and I didn't notice any degradation. There probably was some, but not enough for me to notice.
