excellent!! - Karma is awesome, check out my recent experience.......
I was recently on holiday with my wife. We were out walking and came across a holy well. There were all sorts of offerings hanging from the trees - it really was very sweet. We joined in with the spirit of the area and flicked a votive offering of a coin into the well and went on our way. Shortly after we were trying to walk back past the well, only taking a circuitous route indicated on the OS map to avoid a very deep muddy path just after the well. Things went from bad to worse and we ended up taking over half an hour, fighting through brambles, nettles and all sorts, in shorts and sandals, to get to the well, which should have taken a couple of minutes. Incensed, I returned to the well to recover my offering, feeling I had been shortchanged in the deal.
Unfortunately some dogs had just been in and made the previously crystal clear well a swirling muddy mess. Not to be outdone, I left a further votive offering and p*ssed in the pool (it was a flowing well, so wouldn't have hung about much - and I desperately needed to go!!).
This was a month ago - since then (and I'm someone who never has bad luck), the 7 yr old family moggy died a horrid death and I had to both let my son know who was very close to the cat and be present when he was put down (cried more than I did at my fathers death, and I was close to my father) - that was 2 days after our return.
The next weekend I tried a new 'plant food' RC, resulting in vomiting and an all round 24 hours worth of not very nice experiences (see my post about diablo xxx.
And over the last week I've cancelled my sole account card due to a cock-up by college leading to a breach of security....unfortunately the bank screwed up too and cancelled my joint account and I cut up my sole account card. Result - unable to access my money in my bank!!! the bank forwarded a replacement for the wrongly cancelled joint account very promptly, unfortunately this is faulty and doesn't work, so am now having to await another!!!!!!!!
I'm not sure just how much karma I incurred but I'm hoping it's close to balanced, although I fear not
So kids - don't piss in a pool, 'cos you never know :wink:
