iv always wondered what smoking DMT is like, iv only tried it once, and id say i smoked about 20mg of it. (to see if it would do anything) i got a 15 headbuzz where i was a little out of it, but if i were to up the dosage to say.. 45mg? would that be too much of a rush for me to handle? iv experimented with DMT about 15-20 times (MAOI with a ayahuasica brew, which was suprisingly strong), starting with low doses and working its way up. i consider myself to be experienced enough with dmt to know that its no walk in the park. and sometimes you just gotta STFU, lay down, and learn the lessons it has for you.

But anyway, back to my oiginal question. Is it as uncomfortable with such a headrush like sal that you dont have a good time?

Usually people start with doses of 30mgs. I have no experience with this, but I do know that it is usually complete bliss and awe. Remember that this experience, is indeed impossible to explain. It must be something that you must try. Maybe you should come back down, and we can freebase some. I would be more than happy to try it with you :D

Erowid says a strong dose is 40-50 mg. On my very first true DMT experience I smoked about 80 mg. The only aspect that's comparable to salvia is the duration, and the fact that they both take you into a completely different reality. I've tried salvia before trying DMT and they are nothing alike. Salvia is more of a sensory mindfuck than it is a true psychedelic, while DMT is the ultimate psychedelic journey. There is generally no ego death with DMT unlike with salvia, and the onset is not as sudden, while on salvia your reality just abruptly cuts off, on DMT you ride a roller coaster through hyperspace for about 30 seconds, and then you arrive in another dimension. DMT is much much more enjoyable, It is completely indescribable, but if I had to attempt, I would say it is like LSD x 1000000 + Ecstasy x 1000000. That is not to say that you cannot have an unpleasant experience though, particularly if you are not ready to let go. In order to trip on DMT you basically have to be prepared to die because that is likely what you will think happened, you have to completely let go and surrender to its awesome power because there's absolutely no way to control it, and if you attempt to or have trouble letting go of your reality/life, you will have a very bad time. It's definitely not something to fuck around with that's for sure, don't approach it as just another drug, think of it as a life-changing near death experience.

For me the breakthrough DMT journey did not involve hyperspace journey. It was sudden switch to a place a million or more lightyears away. No warning, just inhaling, laying back, KAZOOM BRDRBRDRBRDRBDRBRDBRDBRDBDR (deafening sound of energy field surrounding everything in that place.

On my breakthrough experience with Salvia, the onset was very smooht. I was literary sitting in my chair and feeling it rotate with me in it backwards. After half a circle, my vision rotated into a cave with creatures that I don't remember to detailed. The getting back to baseline with Salvia is very sudden in my experience while on DMT, it can be quite trippy for quite a while after the peak.

Hmm that's weird, for most people that I have seen smoke salvia the onset is very sudden, like a split second, while DMT is more gradual, however, you are right about the ending, on DMT there's also a sudden return to reality, but you still get strong visuals like LSD x 10 for a little while, getting milder as time passes

I find your comments about the onset of DMT very interesting. Sometimes for me it is very quick, and I have trouble finishing the few hits that make up my dose. Other times I finish the whole dose and have a few seconds (probably no more than 15-20) where I feel normal...and then suddenly it hits me. Both times once it starts to be noticeable, it's only a matter of seconds before peak is reached.

This is with the same does, same DMT, etc.

I wonder what makes the difference.

the start of the trip is indeed very fast, but the true trip usually doesn't start for a while, at least that's how it is for me, I can feel it getting more and more intense for about the first 30 seconds of the trip, and after that I arrive at another dimension, which is when the real trip starts.

" Salvia is more of a sensory mindfuck than it is a true psychedelic "

Thats my opinion to . I cant understand why some people do it loads of times . You might as well sniff glue .

Lol yeah, I hate the stuff, but as I understand it the ones that actually like salvia don't do it to get to level 5 often, that's how a friend of mine said he "developed a love for salvia" he kept smoking a little bit after a little bit to stay in a trippy state but nowhere near level 5, level fives are always fucked up lol

Well, despite that the fact that I have gone through a bunch of fear, I have had one supreme transcandal experience with her.

I have truly felt what Einstein meant with gravity as a field. I have felt myself as an object, including my chair, house etc that is constantly attracted to the middle of one round object... earth. And in fact, could feel the mass of the entire earth as a whole in the universe.

I wouldn't abandon Sally myself. I'm curious about basing DMT, I have had a proposal of smoking it. Hope the promise of our supplier stays a promise.

If your guy doesn't come through, you should try making it yourself, it's very easy and very rewarding, on my first experience I actually came in contact and felt what god really is, don't know how you can get any more supreme than that lol, and I was a total hardcore atheist before that experience and thought I'd never change lol

Exactly. I've only gone that far up on Salvia once and have never felt the desire to do it again.. Also it's better the traditional way, chewed IMO. I would think of it more as a state of connection than just being tripped out (tho trippage is a part of it!).. it really just is what it is...

I'll get back to you if I'm ever lucky enough to come across DMT though :D

High Bloodbrother778 ,

Its good to hear from you again on the forum , i`m realy glad you didnt leave us .

Saliva put me into a strange pastel coloured universe full of imposible corners , angles and wierd objects . Often it was only 2 dimensional . Sometimes i felt like i was a piece of alien furnature or an object . It also made me feel disey , sick and fucked my sense of balance . With me it either put me totaly out of this universe or nothing at all happened . I never had any sucess with smoking it , only with chewing it and even then only a few times , if you can call it sucsess ????

Yeah, that sounds pretty unpleasant... I've never, ever had any sort of nausea with salvia.. generally a sense of relaxation, a sense of presence in feeling like there is someone or something with me who have always been there.. music just comes alive (visually) and dances as well.. if I'm not listening to music I often hear wierd chants and musical ideas...time transforms stretches and shrinks with the music as well..

What I have NOT had is deep, insightful moments of self-awareness aka the classic psychedelics.. definitely DMT sounds like a completely different world. I'm a bit reluctant to attempt to brew ayahuasca by myself.. and I'm a LONG ways from an experienced shaman, so that is out of the question.

Well, I do think Salvia can be very psychedelic (from what I've heard from experienced users) but it's a very harsh one to smoke or/and endure.

If you want to know what they both are like you should read this tripreport: Sally & Dimitri

Wouldn't do it for the world without proper experience with both substances
And even then.....

That's crazy, combining the two!
