Well in the end it doesn't matter I guess how 'strong' it is> That only says how much you have to take by weight, it doesn't changed the amount of mescaline. I never read anywhere if they are mono-mescaline or bi-mescaline or mescaline-bi. If someone knows it's easy to calculate. But it still can be difficult white because of solubilities and crystallisation procedures. I just would go for diluted HCl cause you can get it easy and cheap and can dose pretty accurate.

Mescaline freebase's molecular weight is 211,25758 g/mol
So one gram of freebase mescaline contains 0.00473355 moles of mescaline.

Mescaline HCl: 211.25758 g/mol + 36.46 g/mol = 247.7175 g/mol
So one gram of mescaline.HCl contains 0.0040368 moles of mescaline.

Sulphate: 211.25758 + 97 = 308,26 g/mol
One gram of mescaline sulphate contains 0.003244 moles of mescaline.

Acetate: 211.25758 + 60 = 271.25758 g/mol
One gram of mescaline acetate: 0.003687 moles of mesc

Citrate: 211.25758 + 210 = 421.25758 g/mol
One gram of mescaline citrate: 0.0023738 moles of mescaline.

The more moles of mescaline, the less grams you need to take for the same amount of mescaline molecules.

So to answer your question, acetate is stronger by weight than citrate, but the amount of mescaline you've extracted is pH (and other factors) dependent. So using different acids to salt out the mesc is going to give other "yield" by weight. But the amount of mescaline molecules is about the same.

No the calculations are wrong, as I said you don't know (at least I never saw any reference) how the molecule looks like, you asume that one mole of mescaline is attachted to one mole of salt.

Sulfate: In the sulfate, there are two mescalines per H2SO4. To
complicate things slightly, the sulfate exists as the dihydrate,
meaning there are also two H20s per unit cell. You end up with:

556.632 grams per mole of (mesc)2.H2SO4.(H2O)2

But you want that in terms of one, not two, mesc molecules. So divide
by two:

278.316 grams per mole mesc sulfate [mesc.(H2SO4)1/2.H2O]

You don't know how this is for citrate, fumerate or acetate, so unless you find any reference or find out by trying you can't estimate the dose, for instance, i've read somewhere that the freebase will react with CO2 from the air, and can reacy with up to 12 CO2 molecules, you also don't know how much water it contains or if it's practical (does it reacts, dissolves and crystalizes easily? is it hygroscopic?)

I still think HCl is the easiest for you, (I prefer H2SO4) unless you find some reference or you just want to try and take the chance.
