Indeed, in my experience MDMA gives somewhat of a constant feeling of intense wellbeing, whereas the mushroom (or ayahuasca) can really make you mad with a much more overwhelming ecstatic bliss.I have had two or three experiences of uber-joy on mushrooms that lasted for one or two hours which were so extreme that I almost passed out. Ecstasy was nothing compared against it
I have had two experiences with smoked DMT so far. The first attempt wasn't that successful but it prepared me for the next try, which was pleasant and intense. I do not remember that much from it though. But the idea is to have a breakthrough experience the third time, which will probably happen within a week.
Maybe even an evolutionary advantage. Dedicated users of psychedelics tend to live healthier lives, and thus raise healthier children. Some psychedelics have a direct positive effect on one's health as well (cannabis, ayahuasca). So especially if this continues for a couple of generations, while the non-psychedelic users continue to harm their bodies with bad food, drugs and lifestyle choices for a couple of decades, there will be a measurable biological difference between the two "groups".evolutionary advantage probably not, but i kind of have a feeling that our next evolutionary step will have something psychedelic in its nature
