hey guys,
this is my first try to grow scletoria.
let me tell you what equipment i have and you guys tell me if im doing the right thing :smile:
basicalyl what I want do do is replicate this product DIY style:

its just a jar filled with substrate, already colonized and all one needs to do is let it sit in your room for some time ad then harvest the scletoria.
- 2.5L bag of rye substrate already sterile
- 5x 1000ml filterboxes (plastic box with a special filter lid)
- 5x filter bag (plastic bag with air filter)
- 5l of vermiculite
- 10l of perlite
- spore syringes: cubensis golden teacher and psy.mexicana
ok so I was thinking I take the substrate and devide it up into the 5 bags so I have seperate batches of substrate wo work with.
then I could use the mnexicana spores to either:
shoot them into some of the filterbags filled with substrate and let it grow OR wait a few days then use the colonized substrate with the filterboxes, filling it up and using the lid to seal.. in theory that should be good for the scletoria to grow right? or could i just leave the rye in the bags and letthe sclotira grow in there?
im a little clueless, all I had before was one of the premade jars that you just let grow for 4 months and thats it.. in theory it should also work if I use the boxes or bags right?
or am I missing something important?
sry for all the beginner questions and sorry for not usng the search function but I wouldnt even know what to look for!
