help about dunking

i have nearly fully colonized jar, i will make perlite + peat moss casing. I thought that i can dunk my cake before casing. But is it necessary to do that? or does anyone advice to dunk casing after first flush instead of dunking before casing?

If you're a beginner, I would definitely not recommend dunkin'. Save that for when you're familiar with what you're doin'. And then you should only do it inbetween flushes, at the beginnin' cold shockin' it is the only thing that will do any benefit.
