I AM SO EXCITED!! just harvested my first homegrown magic mushrooms!

after I picked them the end of the stalk turned blue/greenish. is that normal? now I have put them on a paper and covered it with another one. is that how you dry them?

The blue is normal. After you wash them they turn even bluer. Yes, that is a fine way to dry them.

I have to wash them? I am not very experienced with growing ( just eating them ) but why do I have to wash them? they have started drying already. should I wash them anyway?

I wash them. They get all that white and shiny stuff all over 'em, and I don't want to eat that crap. You don't have to wash them..but if you choose to, just wait until they are done dryin'.
