Georgia is recognised by the international comunity and under international law as a country , so are their borders . Russia has invaded georgia and anexed 2 provinces . They are still ocupying part of the rest of georgia in what they call a buffer zone between 25 and 30 kilometers into georgia . The russians did bomb georgian pipe lines . I keep saying that the USA , russia and china are totalitarian states and all not democratic . So your sentance doesnt make any sense to me as you can see by looking at :-

I think if governments, and people with a lot of power knew what the internet would become when it was just created and what it would be used for they wouldn't allow it.

I am not quite sure either, sometimes I heard that it was the CERN, sometimes the military :S I am really not sure, I only said it was the military because it would underline the irony...

yes...and no...it gives us some freedom but I guess you are right that it is only illusionary...but for at least a short time period it allows us to gain first and second hand info, like blogs from people in China or Cuba, info about psychedelics etc. ... hmm

Funny how I created this thread 4 months ago and no one replied until a few days ago

Internet gives us freedom of information, and gives authorities freedom to access our private lives.

I agree that the government is violating our personal freedom when it comes to psychoactive substances. They simply cannot do it, yet they do!

The worse is that when you read the constitution attentively, you will notice that all the laws against drugs are anti-constitutionnal!
