forum sets out radical drugs plan

a report to be published by the Scottish parliament calls for radical new ways to tackle the damage done by drugs and alcohol.

recomendations include the setting up of -consumption rooms- where addicts would be able to take drugs safely and for heroin to be prescribed to users.

the report also suggests the taxation of cannabis to enable it to be more tightly regulated.

the report, from Scotlands Futures Forum, will be unveiled later.

this is the scottish government though. they may do it just to piss westminster off (were like that us scots).
the main drawback is well end up with all of englands junk monkeys moving here just to fix legally. scotlands full of smack'n'crack as it is. its easier for me to buy heroin than cannabis. the cannabis supply line is disrupted fairly regularly where i am as its 100 miles from any big city and hash dealers have to move bulky lumps about. heroin dealers cant stop because for the most they are feeding theyre own habbits, that and its easier to transport. they also get relatively light sentences if they promise to be good in future. hash pushers are just evil (in the eyes of our courts) and just in it for the money. also the hash here is frankly pish in the main

luckilly i cant aford it. actually i can in terms of money but not in terms of lifestyle choise. its very more-ish :wink:
