So. SWIM tried LSD 11 years ago, had a "bad trip", and hasn't done it again since. SWIM is now 31, has had some serious life experiences, and is planning to give it another go over Thanksgiving weekend. SWIM's much younger (but much more experienced in this type of thing) boyfriend will be with her, and he has assured her that should she panic/freak-out (which he insists will not happen), he can talk her down. SWIM and her boyfriend have already agreed that sex is probably not a great idea on this trip, since it could be potentially weird for her. That being said, the couple is very affectionate, very much in love, and just very into each other in general.. so while it may not be the best idea, the sex could happen regardless. Does anyone have any tips/advice/whatever for this type of situation? Like, is there a time during the trip to definitely NOT let things head in that direction? Or a time where weird-ness could possibly be less of an issue? SWIM just wants to be prepared. Hell, she might end up being more interested in something completely unrelated to this subject. Also, any simple "first-timer" type activities that would be fun? SWIM lives in the country by a lake, so it has already been decided that after just talking/listening to music, and getting acquainted with the feeling, she will (hopefully) be going outside to explore things.
